Wonderful cream! For those of you wondering if the texture is thick, NO. The texture is perfect. It leaves the skin velvety, not greasy at all, and perfectly moisturized. I had an issue with eczema for the first time on my hands (from wrist to shoulder). After treatment where it disappeared, I was left with an incredible level of dryness on my skin. It was falling like dust, if you understand. I searched on my own and ended up with cerave. I saw a huge difference in the dryness. In the summer, I will buy the lotion. I highly recommend it.
Update: In the summer, I bought the lotion and it has nothing to do with the one in the jar. I found the lotion to be quite light and I didn't feel moisturized. With closed eyes, I recommend the one in the jar.
I would not recommend it for either face or body. It may look rich, but I don't feel any hydration after using it

Moisturizing, with a nice texture. I think it will work wonders on dehydrated dry skin! Fragrance-free, absorbs easily and doesn't leave any greasiness. A multitasker for face and body!
Thick cream. I wouldn't necessarily characterize it as the best. Okay for certain areas of the body with intense dryness, elbows, heels perhaps, for daily long-term use, but it doesn't perform miracles in terms of hydration. I have tried better ones with more immediate results.

I have very dry skin that is not satisfied by regular moisturizers. Even those that are supposed to be suitable for very dry skin and promise deep nourishment and hydration, they give me a feeling of "tightness" just a few hours after use. I bought and used this specific cream for the first time yesterday. I didn't get the large size because I was afraid it wouldn't provide enough hydration and I would probably throw it away, like so many others. Luckily, I was wrong. 24 hours later, my skin still feels moisturized and soft, and I am very happy. Of course, I will buy it again.

I suffered from severe dry skin and my dermatologist recommended a pharmaceutical cream that was very expensive. So I bought the pharmaceutical cream but I was reluctant to use it on my legs, which have a large area... So I started using cerave on my legs and I was amazed... From the second use, my legs were incredibly soft... Its downside, of course, is that it has no scent at all, but that's a matter of personal preference...

Perhaps the best cream currently on the market for dry or atopic skin. I have been suffering from atopic dermatitis for several years and it has helped me a lot in moisturizing my skin without causing itching or irritation. It is quite fluid but absorbs easily. Its texture is somewhat similar to a silicone-based primer, while its scent is gentle and pleasant. It is worth trying for its price.
