  It's really the most perfect thing I've put in my kitchen, after the dishwasher of course. I learned about the garbage disposal by chance and installed it without even having seen it live anywhere. I have the medium version (TE-75) because the small one has a weak motor and is almost the same size as the medium one, while the large one takes up more space under the cabinet and for home use I find it excessive, they even call it Heavy Duty for heavy use, like a kitchen in a restaurant, shall I say? The space it took under the counter is really just as much as the pipes occupied, I didn't see any change in what I had under the cabinet. Now for the garbage disposal, you can throw everything in except for large bones, banana peels, pineapple, mussels, and shellfish. Together with running water, it grinds everything and cleans everything from your kitchen, all for a good purpose since with the wastewater it ends up in the sea and becomes food for the fish. I even throw in the oranges I squeeze, just because of their shape I turn them upside down so the blade can catch them. The only downside is that if you leave food inside for hours/days without grinding it, your kitchen might smell. That's why it already has a stopper that closes the drain and you can clear it out. If it does smell, you clean it and put the stopper back in or you throw in lemon peels with ice and water and grind them to clean it from odor. Also, I should mention that if something that can't be ground falls in, like a metal spoon, it has thermal protection, meaning when it starts to heat up, it triggers an internal fuse that essentially cuts off the power and prevents the motor from burning out. In this case, you remove what fell in and reset the fuse which is carefully hidden somewhere behind and above the garbage disposal. I experienced this personally and the technical department of Franke responded promptly on how to reset it. I highly recommend it and it really saves me time in cleaning, keeping my kitchen always spotless.

I couldn't stand the noise from the previous one, so I threw spoons inside to break it and get another one.   Very good and quite quiet (as quiet as a garbage disposal can be). I installed it myself, if you watch 2-3 videos on YouTube about how to install it, it's nothing. You can throw everything in except for a few things (like banana peels, onions, etc.) because they are difficult to remove and can clog the drain in the long run. Be careful with the hole you will make in the countertop with a hole saw to install the switch that opens/closes the garbage disposal. It can also be installed under the cabinet, but I preferred it to be on top for easier access. It also has a connection for the dishwasher to be directly connected to it.

  I was saved! Those of you who haven't bought one yet, stop having two bins anymore because in the summer, fruit and vegetable waste are unbearable. Easy installation (except for the button, if you want it on the counter, you'll need a drill) the only thing you might need is a rubber for overflow if your old sink doesn't have one. It grinds everything, I even put chicken bones, it turned them into minced meat. Just because these garbage disposals don't have blades but centrifugal force, don't put two tomato peels inside and expect it to grind them, it needs to be relatively full. There are models with more power in the motor, but I think they are just marketing, it grinds vegetables effortlessly, but if you put bones, put them gradually.

  Powerful and very quiet. Dramatically reduces the odors of the garbage. It fits all new sinks, but it would be good to have two basins. Very easy installation and it can be powered either with a switch or directly into the socket. The only negative is that the food needs a little push to pass through the mouth it has. Of course, the mouth can be removed, but it is good to have it for safety reasons.
