Functions
Eco-Friendly Refrigerant R32
It uses the eco-friendly refrigerant R32, which is environmentally friendly and has 68% lower global warming potential compared to R410A. Additionally, R32 can deliver the same thermal power as R410A with 30% less refrigerant, meaning that less refrigerant is required per unit. As a result, total carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by approximately 75%. Another advantage is that R32 is not a mixture but a homogeneous fluid and can be more easily recycled and reused.
Energy Efficiency
The air conditioner belongs to energy class A++ for cooling and energy class A+ for heating (medium zone). The energy class is measured on a seven-level color scale from A+++ to D, with class A+++ being the most efficient, while class D is the least efficient.
Additionally, there are the SEER and SCOP indicators, which more realistically depict the actual energy efficiency of air conditioners.
- SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) is representative for the entire cooling season. It is defined as the ratio of the annual required cooling to the annual electricity consumption (the annual cooling consumption is based on 350 hours of operation). Indicatively, for an air conditioner of class A and above, the SEER indicator is from 5.10w/w units and above.

Very good machine, I put it in a shop (which creates a corner) about 35-40 sq.m.,
the whole space is cool, with a very good feeling.
The temperature in the room without the air conditioner was about 29.5-30.3
now it is from 24.2-24.9, the controller is set to 22.00 degrees.
Completely silent inside and outside, you sit below and try to see if it rotates
the fan it has, you can't hear it at all.

FAR FAR FAR AWAY!!!! The worst thing I have ever bought. STAY AWAY from TCL. I bought 2 TCL ELITE 9000-09CHSA/XA51I air conditioners in August 2019. They only worked for 2 days because I went on vacation afterwards. I opened them again in July 2020 and 2021 for 2 months, 6-7 hours a day, and now in 2022, on the second day of opening them, they started leaking water from both units. I called the store where I bought them and they told me to contact TCL's service. It took them a long time to answer the phone, and when I explained that water was leaking and the pipes were probably broken, they told me that if I had used the cleaning liquid for air conditioners, the pipes would have broken. I told them that I didn't use any liquid and I haven't cleaned them since they haven't been working for even 4 months. They said that's why the pipes broke because there was no servicing. And that's not all, I brought a technician to my house and he saw that the tanks were also broken. He told me that they are brand new and unused, and it's definitely a material defect. How is it possible for a hand not to be able to reach there and break them, I don't know. Look at the photos for proof. And the best part???? The spare parts sold by TCL, namely the pipe and the tank, cost 35 euros plus VAT for each air conditioner. And even better??? There are no spare parts for this model, it has been discontinued, and they will search for parts from another model that is similar, but they don't know when we will be able to get them and install them in the air conditioners. I should note that we have a heart patient at home who has had heart valve surgery, and for 20 days we have been without air conditioning and we don't know if we will find spare parts. So, what can we say?? Is it allowed for an entire company to know that there are faulty air conditioners and not do anything about it??? In cars, when there is a defect, they send a message to everyone in all countries and replace them, but here they only sell expensive spare parts. I am very dissatisfied, and when people ask me, I tell them to stay away from TCL, no matter what it is, whether it's a TV, AC, or anything else. FAR FAR FAR AWAY

I have bought three units and after 1 year, the circuit boards broke on all three of them. Thankfully, the company replaced them for me. However, the main issue is with their plastic parts. After 2 years, the plastic has broken in multiple places on all three units. Thankfully, they still work, but the quality of the plastic is unacceptably poor, with no recognition of the problem from the dealership, who give various cheap excuses, claiming that we caused it during cleaning. I would not buy this brand again.

Stay away, guys... I bought it a year ago because I read the good reviews and thought I'd try something cheap and "good" as they say! It's satisfactory in cooling, but it makes a very annoying noise, crackling all night long, I read it in another 2-3 comments! In heating, it's simply tragic, it doesn't heat at all, it constantly shows ERROR (P7) and it's the worst thing I've ever bought, you have to set it at 29-30 to get it going... It has not been tested in cooling because it was purchased in autumn. In heating, you have to set it to 30 to feel warmth and then lower it to 25, I expected it to be more efficient. The plastic sometimes cracks, crack, the remote control needs a specific angle to work and it is verbose in providing information with small indications. It is quiet, but it changes speeds, so there is noise and I cannot relax (I have sleep issues + the constant sound of the previous a/c worked like white noise + helped me relax and fall asleep). Overall, it is a rather mediocre purchase.
Update

I have no complaint about the air conditioner. The reason I give it one star is for people to read my review, because everything sold in online stores is imported and only has a 2-year warranty. It is not imported from a reputable brand that offers a 10-year warranty like Turnikiotis. Excellent air conditioner (9,000 BTU) outperforms more expensive options, has been functioning since November '19 when I installed it, set at 18-19 degrees every night and it works perfectly. From a small research I did, the air conditioner is not anonymous, TCL is a major producer of air conditioners in China and is covered in Greece with a 10-year warranty. I bought the air conditioner for my mother's house (it doesn't have good insulation). It works perfectly and quietly in cooling mode. I will come back with my evaluation after one winter of my mother using it. The negatives I found are: 1) it doesn't have an instruction manual in Greek and the remote control doesn't have accurate indications (you can't tell which setting you have selected, whether it's on 1, 2, or 3). 2) Unfortunately, it is a disappointment in heating mode. You have to constantly set it to 30 degrees for the room to be warm. The room being high-ceilinged and the poor installation by the company where I purchased it may play a role. Also, the new unit is clogged and it leaks water from the external unit, not just from the water hose! Stay away from the TCL dealership! The service department hardly ever responds.

The brochure included in the package is only in English, and it is very general and does not correspond to the specific product. So far, it has only been tested for heating, and although it performs very well, the noise will be a problem. It has 3 fan speeds, and there is nowhere the very low speed of 19db.
Update: The issue with the low speed is a remote control error included in the package due to a factory mistake, which was replaced with the correct one and has an additional MUTE button that reduces the fan speed and makes it quieter. Compared to a branded air conditioner with a noise level of 20db, it is noisier and probably in the range of 22-24db

Don't be afraid because the brand is not so well-known.
The machine is flawless in every aspect. I have a point of comparison, an Inventor Passion Eco that I installed last year in the same room.
Tested for 15 days in a bedroom of about 12 square meters, I am very satisfied with the heating.
As for the cooling, I can't say yet. I just tried it today for a short while since the temperature was 24° and from what I saw, it works quite well.
