Description

Capabilities

Inverter welding MMA / TIG from the manufacturer F.F. Group, where inverter technology enhances the machine's performance and durability and contributes to reducing its weight. The MMA electrode method creates thick and strong welds without the need for an external gas supply, making it ideal for welding outside the workshop. While the TIG method is suitable for slow welding on aluminum and stainless steel that requires detailed work and does not create splashes. It can operate continuously for 3 minutes at 180A before needing to stop to cool down. Therefore, you may need more time to melt thicker wires and make more passes on thick welds due to the low maximum Amps it supports.

    The machine is okay in its job. Its cables are almost useless. Even with amateur use, they easily melt, resulting in the body and the clamp "falling off". Personally, I used cables from an old soldering machine to do my work.

    I have had it for almost 3 years and I have gone through about 10 packs of electrodes, always following the work cycles. Very satisfactory systems for cold start and non-stick for the electrodes, with reverse polarity it easily sticks thin metals. With a TIG clamp and a bottle, it can be converted to argon, suitable only for iron and its alloys though. Sometimes it trips the fuses, due to the high starting current, the problem is solved with a higher fuse. Many friends complain about the short cables, the reason is not that the long one has high resistance, it is because the machine with the torch is meant to be on your shoulder, that's why it is so lightweight, it is generally much more convenient to have it on you, and you always have it close to the work area, and the cables are more organized. Compared to an old professional one with transformers, it is day and night, the old one may stick all day but it drives you crazy and it is also heavy

    The machine lasted only a year, it's like I threw money away.. It got stuck about 10 times and the internal components burned out, which cost more than the machine itself.. It's better to spend a little more and get a good brand.. And the warranty doesn't cover it, even though they told me it has 2 years!

    I received it this morning... I just tried it and I have very good impressions..... It doesn't make any noise, it doesn't throw sparks (let's say sparks), I used it at 70 amps to weld steel (rebar with rebar) and it sticks perfectly.... Where my old copper one was much stronger... Sticking on the electrodes, a lot of noise during welding and so on..... The only relatively negative thing is its short cables and the noise it makes when it's in operation.....     I have a professional Lincoln inverter and I bought this one for the second time with 100 euros and I really don't want to stick with Lincoln again. It doesn't bother me at all. Strong and lightweight. The only negative point is the short cables.

    I bought it after a lack of 160A that I wanted, but it would be better if it was bigger. From a quick test I did, it was really powerful at half the amperage that I worked it with, using a 2.5mm cable.
