Dewalt angle grinder with a 125mm disc diameter. It features a No-volt function that prevents the grinder from starting in case of a voltage drop and two side handle positions that offer greater control.
Features
The electronic brake quickly stops the wheel when the trigger is released
The electronic clutch reduces the "kickback" reaction in case of a stall or pinch
The vent covers limit dust ingestion through the motor
The rubber overmold provides improved grip and comfort
Features two-position side handles for greater comfort and control
Brushless Motor
The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque consistently at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.

Very good, worth the money and it's quality!! Only that it drains the batteries immediately, I don't know if I'm using it incorrectly or if the batteries have an issue and drain immediately or if it's just normal due to the power it has.
I have had it for 4 months now. I had the previous brushed model before 2015. That one was perfect, this one is even better. The narrow neck of it is incredibly convenient. It's worth it a thousand times!
Very powerful. I had a cordless drill with 2 batteries 18V 2 ampere and I decided to buy it without batteries. Unfortunately, you can't do any work with them.
A very good tool, with proper ergonomics and excellent performance. It would be great if it had speed adjustment, but I can't deduct a star for that reason because you already know this feature when purchasing it.
A useful piece of information for someone without previous experience with such tools is that it definitely requires a 4-5Ah battery to say that it is sufficient for regular work. For anyone who needs cutting and grinding tasks that take time, they should go directly for a corded tool.
Pay attention to the store selection... prefer official retailers because there are many second-hand products, refurbished, etc. circulating.
Well done, DeWalt!
I had it marked for a long time as I have 2 batteries 5 AH from another set. I bought it for 111 euros with a member discount at Leroy. It is a good battery tool, good construction, and small kickback. If you find it on sale, it is recommended for purchase.
Very powerful wheel. Convenient for narrow spaces. Sturdy construction and good grip. A bit heavy for me and not so easy to transport. 100% satisfied though.
I bought the DEWALT DCG405N EL 18V XR Brushless 125mm Angle Grinder Naked. I have had it for 1 month now. Very powerful wheel, relatively heavy, but it's something you get used to. A little disappointed with the battery life (5AH each), for me each battery lasts half an hour of continuous work. That is, I prepare the job and put the battery, for example, at 9 and start cutting. At 9:30 it stops cutting (the battery is completely drained), so I put the second battery and cut until 10 when it stops cutting because the second battery is also drained. If you have a power outlet nearby, you can charge the first one. It takes almost half an hour to charge each battery. Also, while the batteries have a built-in indicator for whether they are charged or how much energy they have left, this indicator does not work. So at first, I didn't know how much energy they had left. Similarly, during charging, I understand that the battery is charged because the charger's light stops blinking.
Otherwise, it is a very powerful tool, but if you are going to work without a power source nearby, you will need to adjust your work process so that you don't run out of wheels.

Does the motor heat up moderately when you use it?
I decided to buy a battery-powered wheel, so that I can have the convenience of having it with me everywhere without the hassle of cables "searching for a socket, unraveling an extension cord". Many times I think- I look to see "where on earth is the cable". It has so much power that if someone asked me, I would swear on the Bible that "it can't do it". And yet it can, it has no problem cutting anything I have asked it to (iron). I have cut marble, no problem. I have cut concrete, no problem. I am an amateur, a lover of carving and DIY. It is definitely worth buying and I am satisfied to have it.
Guys, while I had the Dewalt dcg412 battery wheel, I bought another one. The new wheel with brushless technology is better in everything. What I like most is the battery life compared to the old technology. With the same 5ah battery, the new wheel lasts twice as long and more, while the difference in power is noticeable. But I will say it again, the battery wheel definitely cannot replace the power wheel. I use the battery one where I don't have the ability to use electricity.

I have been using it for six months mainly for outdoor work (I am an ironworker). I am completely satisfied with the tool, the only thing I regret is not getting it many years ago.

It is used professionally every day for 1 year. It is a tough one, doesn't heat up easily, and has a very good grip. Comes ready with its box.. strong motor

I just received it yesterday and put it to a thorough test to see how it performs.
Well, in terms of power, it is very strong. Truly, it will hardly struggle. I didn't notice any difference in power compared to an electric wheel. On the contrary, I found it to be more powerful than some power wheels I have used.
Its operational quality is excellent, without any vibrations and with a very good "brake".
In terms of dimensions, it is quite compact (for a rechargeable one) and very convenient to hold.
The battery life is a pleasant surprise, as it doesn't run out as quickly as I expected. Clearly, like all wheels, the battery runs out faster compared to other tools, but obviously the brushless technology does a good job.
Another positive aspect is the three-year warranty.
The guard adjustment mechanism is very practical, but I don't know if it will prove to be reliable over time, when it collects dust. That is the only point that didn't please me in terms of its sturdiness...
Overall, it is a very high-quality tool that, if proven reliable over time, will definitely be worth its money.
