The Old Skool is a classic sneaker with influences from the world of skate and the first to feature a decorative stripe on the side. It belongs to the company's Classics and has been available since 1977. This particular edition features an upper made of durable canvas and suede, and of course, it includes the iconic Vans waffle sole.

Very good and quality shoes for a stroll, for walking they personally tire my feet because I am used to running but I have no complaints, they are not for exercising either, the flat sole compared to the raised heel of sneakers provides greater stability and balance.
I bought them exactly in my size and they fit perfectly. I didn't need to "break them in" since they were fine for me from the start. The shoe for spring-summer is just right. For fall-winter, it is obviously not recommended, as it easily absorbs water. However, they can be worn with a slightly thicker sock and you will be fine in light cold.
Positives: Very beautiful and well-known shoes with a simple style that can be worn as streetwear and casual, and they have remained classics in the fashion world. They match with everything, especially in black, and never go out of trend.
Negatives: They wear out very easily. Even if you don't skate and don't wear them for sports activities, they get damaged very quickly, within a year at least, especially if you wear them on a daily basis. Finally, they cause a lot of impact on the body when walking, which affects the lower back over time. I had 3 in my life, and all 3 had the same issues.
Conclusion: I recommend them only for aesthetic reasons and definitely not for everyday use.
Very good shoes, elegant and suitable for any activity from the gym to a walk outside. They don't get dirty and they don't break at all. They are not suitable for long-distance walking. I have had them for 2 years and when I throw them away, I will buy the same ones.
They may wear out relatively easily and may not be very convenient for long walks but for their price they are excellent..... I have bought 4 pairs and will continue to buy
Very nice shoes overall, just make sure to get a size bigger than what you wear in other brands
Very uncomfortable as a shoe. Personally, I stopped wearing them because I can't even walk 500m with them. It's a shoe for going for a coffee, nothing more.
The shoe is very nice, waterproof, and has a great construction. It is only for going to have a coffee, not for walking and overall orthostasis.
They match with many outfits, they are convenient, I have had them for a few months and I believe they are worth their money!
Not comfortable for walking for hours but I found them for 55 euros so it is a decent shoe for the money I bought it!
Generally, they have great application. You definitely need a size smaller and still feel them comfortable on your feet.. I think that if they open up over time, you might need an insole as well. It is a shoe more for appearance. It is not comfortable for walking in any case, it hurts your sole.
Extremely good shoes, second time I buy the exact same pair in a span of 10 years. Very comfortable, they last many kilometers, but after a while the soles start to tear and fade from the sun.
Beautiful but... they are not very comfortable until they break in, in the summer they make the foot sweat and smell.
The first thing about Vans, and generally casual shoes, so my experience may not be so good for someone to rely on.
I won't mention at all about fit, comfort, appearance, quality; top of the line. What I didn't like is that after a certain point, and I'm talking about a 2-hour walk, the sole starts to hurt. So far, it's an excellent shoe.
Also, it's great for almost every occasion, as both the colors and design can be "serious" or relaxed, depending on the rest of the outfit.
Thumbs up to Vans
Very good, at first they hit you a little but then they are very comfortable and fit nicely. Very representative size guide
Externally they look normal! After 4 months of use, the fabric came off the soles and the next one the fabric dissolved, the sole became all crushed plastic! Having previously bought vans from a reputable store, I believe that these vans are not the best quality on the market! Neither orthostatic nor walking, it also hit the side of my foot! In all this, we must keep in mind that we are talking about a shoe intended for skateboarding, so it should neither dissolve (in 4 months) nor hurt the foot with simple walking!
It is a very good and classic shoe. I have bought it many times and in different colors, and while it is very comfortable and beautiful, I don't know if the price is worth it anymore. In the past, you could find it cheaper.
I used to wear sneakers for years, but I have been trying these specific ones for 6 months now and they are very comfortable. I will choose them again
I have exactly the same ones purchased from a well-known department store, I have been wearing them all day for a year now and they have never hurt my heels. Same size then, same size now, and yet, I cannot walk in these at all due to the pain
Ok, classic and nice, but they now seem fake compared to a decade ago. Anyway, you don't usually buy them for the quality.
I wear size 40 in all shoes and these were like a boat in size 40. I returned them and got size 39 and they were perfect
Very tight fit and not comfortable to walk in. The company's instructions said to choose a smaller size than what I wear in other athletic brands, and luckily I didn't do that. More fashionable than comfortable and practical.
I got them in size 38, which is the size I wear. However, they are very tight, and even though I have worn them twice, they have hurt me badly on the back of my foot both times. I recommend buying 1 size larger (at most, you can use an insole if they are slightly big).
They really worth it and the size fits perfectly. I wear them every day and they are comfortable for driving and also match my clothes
Well.. let's start with the fact that it's vans, so it's a great shoe that goes with everything and is easily combined, especially in this color, the price of 50 euros is very good, no complaints about the shoe in general, but whoever buys it should know that the shoe will not be as it was for a long time no matter how much you take care of it, let's not lie. We are talking about a canvas shoe, so it has issues with the sun, the more it is exposed, the more it fades.. and obviously it loses a lot of its beauty.
I have been wearing them since 2002 and I simply renew them every 2-3 years because they withstand the test of time. Whoever buys them for fashion, comfort, etc., don't bother.
I decided to follow the trend and buy these shoes, and deviate a bit from the Nike & Adidas ones that I usually get. Unfortunately, they are not comfortable at all for standing, and my feet hurt when I walk in them. They were also late to open.
Yes, they are trendy, but they are definitely not worth the money, and I feel like if I had bought Nike or Adidas, I would have had peace of mind.
Of course, Vans are among the best shoes for everyday use. Personally, they are very comfortable on the foot and fit perfectly, resulting in being comfortable throughout the day. I have 2 pairs and wouldn't change them for anything. Also, they don't wear out easily, but always with a little care.
Perhaps the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn! My normal size is 42, but the 42 in this particular shoe feels too big. The size 41 is okay in length but very narrow in width, resulting in constant rubbing on my little toe. Additionally, the sole is completely flat and provides no support for the foot. The material does not seem particularly durable, but time will tell. They are nice-looking, but that's about it. I do not recommend them for walking or everyday use, especially considering the price.
