I chose it because of reviews for a small scratch smaller than a lentil on my hand. It is good for slight abrasions like scratches from a cat that you barely escaped. Alternatively, I didn't see any healing or any difference from letting the wound heal on its own, not to mention that it made it worse. Fortunately, it wasn't very expensive, but I would have done a better job with the corresponding one from Bepanthol that I already had at home.

For those referring to its heavy texture and difficulty in absorption, both this specific product and all similar ones function in the same way. They have changed the medical standards in wound healing. What used to be leaving the wound to dry out is no longer valid, and it is preferable to have moisture in the wound to maintain its elasticity.
