  I bought it 5 years ago and I worked it to the bone.... It worked almost 16 hours a day non-stop throughout the summer season, from the first heat until the first cold sets in... Even on the highest setting, it is still very powerful.... I never had to put it on a higher intensity except for a few exceptions.. So, after 5 summers, the blade stopped spinning and the motor was struggling.... I fixed it and repaired it myself (managed to give it another 2.5 months of life) until it finally gave up today... Well, I would buy it again without a second thought... They are not machines that last forever. But I think it earned its money

  I have two.

  The first one was purchased 4 years ago and was placed in a dining room with excessive heat. It operates flawlessly for 12 hours a day. Very powerful (especially considering it's only 50W). It rotates smoothly without any "jams". The noise only comes from the airflow and is continuous without spikes. It is not annoying in any way.

  So, last year I bought a second one. It was placed in a bedroom, relatively "cool". It only lasted one summer. This year, it barely rotates on the first 2 settings...

  Of course, before storing them, the axis is cleaned and lightly oiled with a thin WAHL oil.

  Conclusion: good, but either it's hit or miss... or the Chinese no longer manufacture them with the same quality standards
