As other parents who understand the usefulness of this specific diaper have said, it is ONLY for water, pool, beach, etc. You wouldn't leave the child out of water with this diaper because you would collect mess from everywhere. Taking this into consideration, for their purpose they are excellent. Once I tried putting the little one in an inflatable pool on a balcony with a regular diaper and we were laughing, it was like a second child had sprouted between her legs. Only splashers for water games. And yes, I agree that they are expensive but they have this unique safety feature in the water.
The desired thing for these specific diapers is not absorbency, as the baby will go into the sea and doesn't want a bag between their legs. It is to keep any feces, although as the pediatrician told us, it is difficult for them to want to act in the sea. So, after we have applied sunscreen and put on a swim diaper, we also used a round life jacket. We go into the sea for about ten minutes and then, when we come out, we rinse the child with tap water, tear the diaper, dry them, and put on a regular diaper and swim trunks. As for the fit, my little ones are about 8 kilograms and around 70 pounds, and they fit fine, given that they have elastic around them. For bigger babies, they may be tighter.
They are absorbent enough, however, I have bought size 4 (9-15kg) for my little one and they are too loose around her thighs even though she weighs only 8.5kg.
I really haven't understood their usefulness. Simply, if I put a regular diaper on the child, it will be heavier when it comes out of the sea. Only this is not a reason for me to spend extra money on these specific diapers.
The little one weighs 14.5 kilograms, but he is tall and slim. He got a little redness on his buttocks. However, despite the mischief he caused in the sea, nothing escaped, neither "material" nor "color"! They are definitely worth their money and more.
We use them regularly in the pool. Obviously, they are not absorbent, but they are intended for a different purpose. Therefore, the question being asked is not reasonable.
We use them in the pool during baby swimming, they have not caused any skin issues on our baby during this time. Also, for this short period of about half an hour, we have not noticed any leaks. They are good.
They are not absorbent, but that is their purpose. If they were, they would become heavy like regular diapers. You wear them before going swimming so that they don't get damaged, and you remove them after swimming so that they don't stay with a wet diaper. Under no circumstances should you use them as regular diapers, as they will leak.
Like this one, the other brands are also meant to only keep the bad things.. none of them keep the good things..
So whether it's for the pool or the sea, you should know that we swim in the bad things.. haha
But instead of having the child wear a regular diaper and walk around with a weight between their legs.. I recommend them..
It doesn't hold anything except for the obvious flaws. It peed a few seconds before we jumped into the sea and ran down our legs.

It's perfect for the beach, but it needs to be changed quickly because it doesn't breathe

They worked great for us!! Of course, after every bath you remove it so the child doesn't sit with moisture
