Easy assembly, aesthetically pleasing product, satisfactory capacity - can fit up to 3 pairs on each shelf (total of 12), but BEWARE: up to size 43... from size 44 and above on the side - therefore the capacity is significantly limited to 2 pairs per shelf...
It is not the storage space of 34.5 but 29 inches, this measures the lid from above.
Shoes do not fit straight from size 37 and above.
It fits 6 pairs of size 45 diagonally in the double-sided compartment and 3 pairs in the single leaf.
Very beautiful, excellent for its price! It beautified and organized the entrance of my house. With a matching mirror, it becomes a wonderful entryway furniture.
Very beautiful shoe rack and has space, quite clear instructions and easy to assemble, it is definitely not for large shoe sizes. For its price, quite good quality although the legs are plastic. Very nice color nonetheless
Nice construction. The depth mentioned does not correspond to the depth of the cabinet but to the entire piece of furniture. Shoe size up to 42 barely fits. So it doesn't hold 16 pairs. The instructions are quite clear and it's not difficult to assemble. I would probably prefer something else.
In general, it is beautiful; I didn't like the wood of the handle, it is completely flimsy, while the rest is okay. And because it is also folded in the packaging, there is a fear that it might get cut in the middle
What they say is, the construction is of medium difficulty, because such products often do not always hold, I add reinforcement, in this case adding stability with corners
Very beautiful, good construction and practical.. The only negative, my husband's shoes, size 45 fit in the side resulting in less space than indicated..
It is not very durable for outdoor use. It was exposed to some sun for a few hours a day, mainly in the afternoon, and it happened to get wet 2-3 times, even though I immediately wiped it or covered it. Its doors did not fit well from the beginning and would open on their own. Shoes size 43 and above do not fit vertically.
A fine and beautiful piece of furniture. We assembled it with 3 people.
- The construction quality is average, as with many such furniture pieces. Chipboard covered with melamine. Of course, we handle it carefully and protect it from moisture. After all, it's for shoes, so it doesn't need to be made of steel... The doors also have magnets.
- The number of shoes it can hold is indicative, as it depends on the size of the shoes you wear, and also the actual depth of the furniture is smaller. In this case, it is 28 centimeters, from the inside. The numbers are written on the outside. Not that I regret it, I knew what I was getting, since I roughly calculated how many pairs I would put in.
- However, it can also hold two pairs per shelf, by placing them diagonally and positioning them differently, if they are large sizes.
- It is supported at the bottom by 5 plastic legs.
It is beautiful in appearance, but it doesn't have space inside for shoes, especially sports shoes. You have to put them on the side to fit and close the door. Generally, the doors have a magnet that doesn't hold at all and keeps opening... but you get what you pay for
The construction is quite good for its price. We use it for storage and not for shoes, so I don't know how much it can hold, but as a general storage space, it is very good and beautiful
For the assembly, it took me about 4 hours but I did it by myself and started with a small mistake in the assembly. However, the final result was more than satisfactory. The fatigue was worth it. I wear shoe size 38-39 and it fits comfortably. For me, it's worth its money.
Quite a good shoe rack. The assembly is not difficult and the Allen key required is provided. However, one thing the manufacturer could have done is to include 1-2 extra screws, locks, or even an extra leg, as if something is lost or broken, the whole furniture can become useless. Mine fell apart while tightening the one lock that holds the top lid in place. Luckily, with the remaining 5 locks, there is no issue structurally, otherwise I would have had to search for replacements.
Also, the plastic legs are completely fake, unlike the rest of the construction which is of satisfactory quality for its price. In fact, they seemed so fake to me that I didn't even use them and made new ones from wood, which fit perfectly.
Overall, the shoe rack is very convenient and aesthetically pleasing.
For the money I paid, it's worth it. It fits 3 pairs on each shelf, it's a mediocre construction but I knew that and it doesn't need anything more. If someone is not skilled in constructions, they will struggle to assemble it, but all these furniture pieces have a thousand and two things to connect.
Update 12/2024. The doors have broken from the hinges, the hole for the hinges has "opened" and the particle board is ready to disintegrate. Not sturdy at all and cannot be repaired... Sturdy and beautiful. Relatively easy to assemble. It definitely does not fit 16 pairs if you wear size 41 or above, unless they are high heels or sneakers. I placed it without the plastic legs, which are awful, and I will soon change the also plastic knobs.
Very good build quality and easy assembly for someone with basic technical knowledge or relevant experience in such assemblies. The design is relatively understandable. I have seen worse. The plastic legs are a downside, but they are not particularly noticeable when it is assembled. With a depth of 35cm, it is not very comfortable for shoes. We use it as an entryway furniture. Overall, it is worth its money.
A few details about the product:
- The legs are plastic (they look like wood!)
- Men's shoes cannot fit vertically but only horizontally because it is narrow and small in width. It's my fault for not seeing the dimensions properly!
- It took me a while to assemble it and overall I have some issues with it! You need to separate all the loose nails, plastic pieces, etc. There are few pictures in the guide on an A4 page. You will need a hammer and an electric screwdriver. Because it is not made of wood or MDF, it requires caution as it is a fragile construction. The knobs are also plastic.
Regarding my delivery:
- The 2 stoppers were missing from the doors inside the bag with all the screws. We are talking about 2 small plastic pieces. I contacted pakoworld via email and they told me that they can send them to the place where I ordered it and I can go and pick them up. I told them that I prefer them to put them in a simple envelope and send them to me by mail at home so that I don't have to go, but they replied that this is the procedure! We left it there! I'm not going to run for 2 small plastic pieces in Pallini again to get them. I don't care! Of course, what would it cost them to send them to me by regular mail? I don't know.
Beautiful product with good fit, the negative aspect is that the instruction manual could have been more detailed and the space for shoes is not suitable for sizes above 43, it needs to be angled so you lose some space. Only time will tell about the rest.
- Very nice as a piece of furniture with a nice and not at all cheap construction.
- It's worth its money.
- Its capacity is satisfactory, with the shelves on the large side fitting 3-4 pairs and the ones on the small side fitting 1-2 (depending on the shoe and size each time).
- Relatively easy assembly, but you need to be very careful and pay attention to the instructions for use.
The product is very decent considering the price!! Its drawbacks are that it can only fit 4 pairs of men's shoes horizontally and the construction is not very sturdy.
Assembly is quite difficult (I am relatively new but it's okay).
The downside is that my shoes, size 43, do not fit straight, so I have to put them diagonally and they barely fit :-/ and some really struggle to fit.
This shoe rack is only suitable for up to size 41. That's it!
Poor quality indeed, as expected given its price. Once I accidentally spilled water on it and the color permanently faded in that spot, with just a few drops!
The assembly is sturdy and precise but time-consuming, even if you are familiar with it. The instructions require some "decryption". For some reason, the doors emitted a blackness on the inside (varnish or some other material?). It took me a long time to clean them.
The grilles are fake, there are no grilles. Therefore, if by "recesses" in the description you mean grilles, then the description is misleading. Ventilation comes from the large gap between the doors and the main body (as other users have also pointed out), not from non-existent recesses.
However, the main drawback is the small depth: it does not fit size 44 shoes! Only sideways, and this significantly reduces the mentioned capacity for pairs. Other shoe racks have a slight incline on the shelves to accommodate larger shoes.
Conclusion: I would only recommend it if someone primarily wants something cheap and presentable. If possible, it would be preferable to get something better.
