The game is well-known, I won't comment on the gameplay, you know what to expect. However, for co-op use, buy something else; the camera does not follow the second player anywhere, and combined with the speed at which the whole game runs, the two characters can essentially never coexist
Very unnecessary game since there are so many new ones out. It's not worth its money just to play a retro phase. I wouldn't buy it again, I only did it as a favor to my son.
Very nice game, and well-made. Finally, after so many years, a good platformer. Maybe the solution for a good Sonic game was to go back to the "old" ones. It has rebuilt several old levels from the first games (1, 2, 3, CD, etc.) and the gameplay is more or less as we remember it, but it introduces many new levels, new elements, and mechanisms in various areas. I particularly like that there is a moderate level of difficulty so that you don't get bored quickly (especially the special stages from Sonic 3 that I never understood how they work haha). The most impressive part for me, besides the gameplay, is the graphics. For the most part, they resemble a classic platformer, but they have something "new" inside, with more vibrant colors that make it more enjoyable as a game in general and fit the theme. Finally, the only thing left to say is that in all Sonic games, the focus is on speed. And in this aspect, it does not disappoint (that's the purpose after all - gotta go fast). Overall, it is a nice and refreshing addition to the franchise and definitely something very enjoyable to pass the time
