Splitting axe suitable for very large logs with a diameter greater than 30 cm. It has a waterproof Teflon coating on the blade, reducing friction by 25% and protecting the blade from rust.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Cuts like a razor..but you need to study it and know a bit about the basics of where to hit the wood, in which spot, that is. There is a technique combined with the handle you strike and pull back!
The price may seem a bit steep compared to other brands, but it is worth every penny and then some. Very good axe. To find something better, if it really is better, you have to go for expensive, high-quality options. Although I am 1.70 meters tall, the x27 does not give me any trouble.
Very good and doesn't tire you out like other commercial axes. I have spent a lot of money on various ones, this one for me is top-notch, you pay for it once
One of the best choices for splitting wood, it easily detaches from the wood, especially if you have first applied oil or wax. It is light to handle, although it helps you get the job done with the least possible effort.
Its construction is plastic except for the head, which helps it to be light and to have the weight shifted away from the hands, but at the same time it is also the only point that I am concerned about in terms of durability over time.
So far, after a month of heavy work and some rough hits, it seems to hold up
Quality and sturdy construction, it even manages with the toughest woods, ignoring diameters and hardness, a very good tool, worth every penny of its price!
I won't say much and it's not necessary. The axe cuts down pine pieces in no time. I finished two whole pines with short breaks in 3 hours and something. With a chainsaw I would have struggled for a couple of days, I was saved.
Top-notch splitting axe..
One hour of use is enough to make you never want to use anything else again.
Excellent axe, as you will see in the video it chops wood easily. It is definitely worth buying.
Very good axe, it splits 40cm logs effortlessly. I was skeptical about its blade and how its alloy would hold up against pine, but it went through it like butter, almost effortlessly, with its weight alone, without significant additional force.
X27 Tool! I received it today and easily split several logs of olives and oranges mainly, but also other types of wood. As a first impression, I am satisfied with its performance.
The axe is perfect, much more comfortable cutting than the heavy one I had, it doesn't get stuck, it doesn't chew! I will probably need a smaller one as well...
AMAZING !!! It exceeded every expectation, it cuts through all types of wood, it doesn't get stuck and it doesn't require much force during work. I cut oak and ash trees without any problem and I would even say effortlessly. It easily cuts even wood with thorns. It definitely worth its money and I would highly recommend it. Its length is not 96.4 but 91cm. Its weight is ideal and it is more than enough for fireplace wood. I am very satisfied
I got the X11 to try it on small diameter pieces and I was amazed, incredible balance to the point where you feel like all the productive force you exert ends up at the point you aim for, also even if it doesn't tear with the first hit it doesn't stick to the wood but comes out immediately... Next order X25 for logs!
I bought it with reservation as I was watching videos on YouTube and I was thinking, okay, they don't have a tough knife that doesn't cut easily. In the end, the axe is something else! I highly recommend it! I only cut tough things, whether they are dry or green, and it chops them into little pieces! Get it with your eyes closed and you will remember me!
In this category, I believe everything is the same, from 70 euros to 120 euros, it's purely a matter of taste! The differences are small! It's worth its money 100%
I have already cut around two tons of olive wood. Awesome axe and it never gets stuck. You get what you pay for
Very good at splitting. Weight properly distributed. I tried it on logs of oak and I was amazed.
Pure beast. Comfortable, balanced, lightweight without meaning less power. I ripped through 2 tons of wood in one day with a diameter of 40-45 centimeters that other times I couldn't even do half. It doesn't get stuck and also when it throws you back, you don't feel any vibrations. Really, buy it.
Amazing ergonomics. Super lightweight and at the same time very effective. With complete inexperience and the wrong technique, I started chopping firewood with this axe 2 years ago. I really can't hold any other axe in my hands anymore.
Amazing ergonomics. Super lightweight and at the same time very effective. With complete inexperience and wrong technique, I started chopping firewood with this axe 2 years ago. Honestly, I can't hold any other axe in my hands anymore.
It is slightly more effective than other cheaper axes. But... the difference is made by the ergonomics so that you can work for much longer. You get much less tired.
I have chopped over 20 tons of pine and trunks over 1 meter in height and diameter.
This specific axe, the XL X25, with its length and weight, is a very good tool for its job. It has a good handle and your hands don't hurt from the vibrations.
Amazing axe, with one or two strikes it opens the wood as if it's already split!!! The handle is 50cm in diameter and 70cm long, with one strike it opens effortlessly!!!
It's a beast!! It feels like I'm tearing watermelons apart!
For someone who wants to stand close when splitting wood. (60cm)
60-70cm is the perfect size for me personally, as I am 179cm tall
Excellent. Lightweight, properly balanced, and with a good length. Above all, it has not stuck to the wood even once, so there is no need to hit it with force to detach it.
Very good axe. I use it to split olive wood and I am completely satisfied. I have split trunks up to about 50cm without any problem. Ideal weight to work for a long time and without many vibrations in the hands compared to cheaper axes.
