Description

Wall-mounted air conditioner, with new environmentally friendly refrigerant R32, compact, with high efficiency and improved comfort function.

Eco-friendly liquid

Thanks to the R32 refrigerant, maintenance costs are reduced for the air conditioner and its energy efficiency is increased. Additionally, it contributes to reducing the phenomenon of planetary overheating.

Horizontal Airflow

The new flow control distributes cold air evenly throughout the room, completely eliminating the unpleasant feeling of cold drafts.

Automatic Louver Adjustment

The louvers can be moved left and right, up and down using the remote control.

Automatic air speed adjustment function

The air speed adjustment function automatically adjusts the fan speed of the indoor unit according to the specific conditions of the space.

Energy Saving Mode Econo Cool

The "Econo Cool" function is an intelligent temperature control function that adjusts the amount of air directed towards the body based on the temperature of the outgoing air. The selected temperature can be increased by up to 2°C without any loss of comfort, achieving a 20% energy savings. (This function is only available in manual cooling mode.)

Function "i save"

"i save" is a simplified adjustment function that recalls the preferred (selected) temperature with the press of a button on the remote control.

On/Off Operation Timer

Control the on/off times of the air conditioner with the remote control.

Built-in weekly timer function

Easy adjustment of desired temperatures and activation/deactivation times (ON/OFF) with programs that fit your lifestyle. Reduces energy waste by using the timer to avoid forgetting to turn off the unit and continuous temperature adjustments.

Automatic Restart

Extremely useful function in case of power outage, as the unit automatically turns back on when the power is restored.

Energy Efficiency

The air conditioner belongs to energy class A++ for cooling and energy class A++ for heating (medium zone). The energy class is measured on a seven-level color scale from A+++ to D, with class A+++ being the most efficient and class D being the least efficient.

In addition, there are the SEER and SCOP indicators, which more realistically depict the actual energy performance of the air conditioners.

  • SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) represents the overall cooling season. It is defined as the ratio of the annual cooling demand to the annual electricity consumption (the annual cooling consumption is based on 350 hours of operation). For an A-class air conditioner and above, the SEER index is typically 5.10w/w units and above.
  • SCOP (Seasonal Coefficient of Performance) represents the overall heating season. It is defined as the ratio of the annual heating demand to the annual electricity consumption (the annual heating consumption is based on 1400 hours of operation). For an A-class air conditioner and above, the SCOP index is typically 3.40w/w units and above.

This review is about the cooling power: 24000 BTU

Everything was perfect until it snowed in Attica. Located in a 45sqm living room, in the center of Athens, a penthouse with decent insulation but old-style sliding windows. With an external temperature of 1⁰C and an internal temperature of 15⁰C, it constantly defrosts, resulting in the inability to heat the space. With a temperature above 5⁰C, it works fine. The external unit is huge and a bit noisy when it starts. Maybe it should have been installed downstairs. The internal unit, with the silent fan, is really quiet without any plastic noises during expansion and contraction. In the summer, it cools perfectly fine... that was missing... In terms of consumption, during the summer, which we have experience with, it is indeed economical. However, the issue is what it will consume for heating... we haven't received the bill yet. We never managed to set up the Wi-Fi. We wasted 100 euros for nothing.

This review is about the cooling power: 9000 BTU

The review is about the Mitsubishi AP25VG(K) 9000 BTU. Tested so far in cooling.

+It is really quiet. At night in complete silence, you forget that it is working. It seems like it's not even on. It stayed on all day at 26 degrees in Athens with 35 degrees outside and it didn't burn even one euro.

-The wifi doesn't connect at all. There is a solution with wifi to infrared, of course, but okay. It doesn't have the "i feel" feature that transfers the thermostat to the remote control. It is quite more expensive than similar machines from other companies.

I will come back with a review for heat.

Very good air conditioner. I bought a 12,000 BTU and a 9,000 BTU (for the living room and the bedroom). It cools the space well and quickly, it's quiet, it has an energy-saving mode, good air distribution with several options for fan intensity and direction of the louvers, nice appearance, small to regular size, good and relatively easy remote control with useful options. It's worth the money. I haven't tried it for heating yet, but I imagine the same will apply.

No relation to the old Mitsubishi we knew!
It requires attention to the grading that cools the space without making anyone cold(!).
    I won't even discuss heating.
    I wouldn't buy it again and that's why I don't recommend it.
A thousand times Panasonic (which is also more economical)!!!
    (coming back...
and after 2 years of use, I can confidently say that I regret this purchase!)

Very good air conditioner. I have the equivalent from Daikin in another room. Both perform exceptionally well in cooling and heating during the winter. They emit warm air in very low temperatures, which is not easy for many other air conditioners. Also, very economical based on measurements I have made with a power meter.

Compared to the old 24,000 BTU Mitsubishi model I have (SRK/SRC-71ZR-S), I believe this one is better, as it has better performance due to the R32 refrigerant! I use it for professional use in a 110 sqm shop, and it cools and heats comfortably on auto mode!

I installed it in September 2020, in an 80m2 house, so that it covers the whole space, living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms. It performs very well in heating, even in low temperatures above 5°C. Below that, it struggles like all air conditioners, but I am very satisfied and I walk around comfortably. I don't have an opinion on cooling yet, I will come back in the summer

It's not worth the money. Everyone says Mitsubishi is top-notch, quiet, and performs well. The machine (18000btu) makes a lot of noise inside, especially on cold days. As for performance, it worked from 13:00 to 22:30, set at 28 degrees, and reached 22 degrees in a 60 sqm area. Dissatisfied for almost 1300€!! Cooling has not been tested.

Dog. Very good with fast performance. I put it in silent mode and you don't realize it's working.
I have it in a 60 square meter room. It's a bit bulky.
The negative is that it doesn't have built-in wifi and you have to buy it separately.

As a Mitsubishi enthusiast, unfortunately, I had to return the air conditioner and I will explain the reason:
Most air conditioners with 18000 BTU use 1/4 and 1/2 inch copper pipes. However, this particular air conditioner uses 1/4 and 3/8 inch copper pipes (thinner, like a 9000 BTU unit). So, if you have a pre-installation for an 18,000 BTU unit or want to replace an old 18,000 BTU air conditioner, the pipes are likely not compatible. When we asked the dealership, they told us that if the pipes do not have the recommended diameter, there is a problem with the warranty. So, be careful!

Recently purchased so currently we do not have a complete picture. In the first cold days, it has not needed to work above the first level, in which it is so quiet that you go underneath to see if it is releasing air. Some who comment on contraction and expansion sounds should make sure that these sounds come from the air conditioner and not from a nearby piece of furniture, as I mistakenly thought the first night I had it hitting low against furniture. The remote control is simple and user-friendly. It also has a setting to open at the hours and days you choose. The external unit is also quiet. I have no opinion on wifi as I have not looked into it. Overall, 100% satisfied so far.
Edit. It performed perfectly in the heatwave, I also saw that it has wifi connection although it is not mentioned. The wifi has interruptions and is susceptible to interference, resulting in the air conditioner opening and closing. In the end, I completely disconnected it

The only air conditioner with a COP coefficient of 4.7 in the average zone and 5.9 in the warm zone. And it doesn't stop there. The indoor unit has a double row of fan coils, and with the air distribution it provides in both warm and cold settings, you don't feel any drafts and, most importantly, you don't hear anything. In other words, it has nothing to do with "cheap" air conditioners that blow large quantities of lukewarm air. The size of the indoor unit is like a 9, it delivers 20,000 BTU. I heat an 80 sqm maisonette floor throughout the winter without ever turning it off and without using natural gas. If you install it, you will feel like you stole it from Mitsubishi for the €1000 it costs, considering that it surpasses Daikin in every aspect! The only "downside" is that ONLY the VG (K) model has the built-in WiFi interface, the VG requires an extra one.

This review is about the cooling power: 24000 BTU

We are a family of five living in an 80 square meter house on the top floor without a roof. We purchased the machine in October 2019 mainly for heating purposes. The consumption during the period from January to April 2020 was 2400kw (social tariff). The corresponding consumption in 2019 was 1300kw. The air conditioner worked at least 14 hours every day. Very satisfied with its performance, the only negative aspect, although I have no experience with other air conditioners, is that it frequently went into defrost mode in negative temperatures, resulting in the inability to raise the indoor temperature above 22 degrees

I have the msz/muz71. It is quiet inside and outside for its btu. I installed it in a 75 sqm space, not unified, divided into 3 rooms. In cooling mode (before placing it in the living room), it reaches and changes the temperature in the other rooms very quickly without the need for fans or anything else. The atmosphere quality is great and the long function is very useful, as it throws the air like a veil from above and throughout the space. I have placed the outdoor unit high and there is no problem with coordination and other things in the house, and as I said, it is very, very quiet as well.

It has an incredible fast performance in a single space of 84 square meters for heating. The operation is quiet both inside and outside. I suggest placing the outdoor unit on the floor and not on the wall due to its weight and volume. However, the most important thing is to have at least two meters of pipes from the indoor unit to the outdoor unit. If you install a good wall base, it may transmit coordination inside the house over time and restrict you to the length of the pipes. If you have a small balcony, use the space below it as a table or for hanging clothes. It's a shame that it doesn't have a wall mount for the remote control and every time I have to search for it.

Very good air conditioner, quiet, economical, excellent in heating and I assume also in cooling.
Easy remote control and menu. A little expensive, but it's worth investing once.
The only unpleasant thing I noticed is that the remote control does not light up and in dark conditions you will have to turn on the light for some adjustment. Really a very bad finding for such a machine... Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

As appearance goes, it's all subjective... Personally, it's nicer than it looks, truly quiet (reaches 18db in heating mode on paper) and efficient for a 12-15sqm bedroom... 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn't come with the extra factory filter and wifi (both can be added later).

In my space, it "inverts" at 250 watts and then turns off...

Incredible air conditioner and one of the top 12s in its category. Amazing performance in heating and cooling and truly silent. It's worth its money for the economy it provides, as well as for the quality of its materials (it's not a cheap plastic like some others). After all, its indicators speak for themselves in terms of the economy you will achieve in both heating and cooling (SEER Cooling 8.6 W/W and SCOP Heating 4.7 W/W).

I wanted a quiet air conditioner and that's why I bought this particular machine. Unfortunately, it's not worth the money. In order to be quiet, one has to put it on the lowest setting, which doesn't perform well. Specifically, even the blades creak when it's running. On the other hand, it is also very bulky. It's not worth more than 500 euros.
