I bought it today (55") from a store, replacing a 47" LG LH5000 from 2010.
If I were to describe it in relation to that one, I would say that the difference is night and day... keep in mind that I haven't made any adjustments... it's as it came out of the box... I'm testing it right now as I write.
Well... let's start with the price. At €849 with a €170 refund through go4more from the national bank, making the final price €680, I think I don't need to say anything else.
And let's move on to the most important point... the picture.
I tried 4K HDR YouTube videos... then I watched Netflix's Spiderman Homecoming... I watched ERT sports HD (which shows Formula 1)... I can say that I am completely satisfied.
I tried ERT2 and a couple of local channels in SD... some play very well (I don't know if it's due to the content at the moment, like commercials/shows/telemarketing) and some play "decently"! I emphasize this because it's important that only my mother watches these... but I'm very happy with the quality of the non-HD state channels.
The other two issues I had in mind were... its black levels and brightness. Honestly, I feel like I made a very good purchase. I don't see anything wrong so far.
Its operating system is very good, as well as the control... it has everything and more (a mouse).
I hope I don't have to come back for updates... which means that everything is going well. I hope it lasts as many years as the other one... which didn't have any issues, I just did an upgrade. And it was worth it.

I bought the TV 8 months ago and I came to the following conclusion: after a month of purchasing the TV, a white shadow appeared on the left side of the screen (bleeding screen). LG replaced the screen with a new one and advised me to have the backlight at low levels, saying that it contributes to the bleeding screen, but this is not mentioned anywhere in the TV's brochures (in movies with 4k hdr10 resolution, the backlight should be at least at 95). Now, as for the picture on TV channels, the quality is mediocre. When playing movies from an external USB hard drive with 1080p resolution, the picture is very good, but in content with 4K HDR10 resolution, the picture is mediocre with blurriness and the black turns gray. I don't have a bluray, it would be useful if someone with HDMI BLURAY connection wrote about the picture quality in 4K HDR10 resolution. The sound from the TV speakers is average, but when connected to a home cinema system with optical or HDMI connection, the quality is excellent.
