I will talk about city helmets as I am a delivery person and I change helmets every year. The best helmet on the market is this one. Spend this money and you will see what a purchase you have made. Perfect fit, you feel like you are wearing something that protects you. It may be heavy but you don't notice it as it is fully balanced and feels like you are wearing something much lighter than it actually is. I am a size medium. Save money, put it in installments, get this helmet. Don't think about it, it's a one-way street.

After many Shoei full face helmets, I decided to get a flip-up one due to a change in motorcycle category. Except for the fact that I would like better ventilation, the helmet is excellent and when it's closed, you don't realize it's a flip-up!

I bought one of the first Neotec helmets that Tzortzopoulos had brought and I never regretted it. 6 almost years later (and after replacing the visor and the inner lining) the helmet remains stable and easy to wear (even with glasses), with excellent visibility and very good sound insulation. It goes without saying that if you buy it, you accept the downsides of the flip-up helmet, namely the annoying resistance of the chin bar when riding with the front part raised, etc. Always Shoei, these people are scientists.

After years of thinking that I was wearing a helmet, I made the breakthrough and bought a Shoei! From the moment you have it in your hands, you realize the quality that this company offers you! Although it is heavy in the hand, when it fits on the head, it is so well balanced that the weight is zeroed out. Also, my hearing "recovered" since it has very good sound insulation and its closure is very high quality. The fastening of the helmet, which is not a D-ring (it does not personally affect me), is in the exact spot on the chin and fits perfectly.
The only thing I think they should change in the future is the weight without compromising on quality.

Update (07/2022): On a trip with a completely closed helmet and speeds over 160+ km with a sport touring motorcycle (Vstrom 1000), you simply can't hear anything! The difference in sound insulation when it is closed is shocking!

The quality of Shoei is amazing. From the visor closure to the aerodynamics, you understand why it's worth it. It's my third helmet from the same company. The only negative thing is the color. The matte black scratches and fades very easily. You have to constantly have the case with you.

After many years of buying helmets for 200-300€, I took the step and bought the above helmet. I have had it since 05/2020 and ultimately you get what you pay for. Very good balance, it hides its weight, tremendous quality of materials, and moderate aerodynamic noise.
