  WARNING! D-size batteries are required without specifying their type. From the instruction manual, I quote "Do not use alkaline (carbon - zinc) or rechargeable (nickel - cadmium) batteries".

  The construction quality seems satisfactory for its price.

  I eventually returned it because it is too heavy to hang from a simple tent, and it is not clear what it needs to work properly. Additionally, its autonomy is not satisfactory if it requires a new pair of unknown type batteries for every day of use.

  A wonderful solution for camping and the beach. Relatively quiet with ideal light intensity. (Not too bright, not too weak) The fan really does the job. The only thing one should keep in mind is that due to the batteries, it has a small weight and I would not recommend hanging it on the ceiling of a small camping tent. Other than that, it is great and useful in many situations!
