I give it 3 stars because as a toaster it doesn't say anything. It takes a long time to toast the bread, both square and sandwich bread, and makes the bread so crunchy like toast, while at the same time it doesn't toast the inside very well. You have to cut the sandwich in half and continue toasting because the cheese usually doesn't melt by itself. Maybe it's better for grilling, but I don't recommend it for toasting. The lights are another story; as soon as you plug it in, both turn on, then after a while the green one turns off and you don't know how and why.

It does the job just fine, 2 years in use, no problems.. I mainly make toast and toast bread. Those who couldn't make toast properly are not using the toaster correctly.. you put the toast in as soon as the green light goes off.. you take it out when it lights up again. We don't put the toast in as soon as we plug it in. That's why it seems to take a long time. We read the instruction booklet first and don't act like we know everything and that everything works the same..

It has a short cable and you have to use it very close to a socket. More like a sandwich maker than a toaster. When it closes, the plates have a gap between them. Under the cooking plates, where the heating elements are, after a year the metal surfaces started to oxidize without any water ever falling there. I had it for 3 years and it never broke, but I threw it away because of the rust it had under the plates and its inconvenience due to the short cable.

I regret buying it.... having come from a 2000w toaster grill where the toast was ready in 2 minutes, crispy on the outside with the inside melted as it should be. This one here doesn't even toast the bread in half an hour. It literally burns the outside but doesn't cook the inside. Maybe it's the plates, I don't know, it's a shame for the 40 euros.. never again a toaster less than 2000w

The best toaster for toast that we have purchased. For the money, it is the best.
- The plates are easily removable and cleaned.
- It can be stored in an upright position.
- It toasts evenly.
- The most important advantage, in my humble opinion, is that the plates have depth, resulting in the toast not being compressed and remaining fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

For the best result, leave the toaster to warm up until the green indicator light goes off (about 4 minutes) and then toast for 4-5 minutes, depending on how well-done you want it.

The only negative thing I can find is that it does not have an on/off switch. However, this can be solved with a power strip that has an on/off switch.

Its great advantage is the price and the fact that it has ceramic plates with depth.
Simple design, sturdy construction, with removable plates for easy cleaning, heats up quickly and toasts perfectly!!!
Compared to the previous one I had, it is light years ahead in everything!!!
It's worth every penny up to the last cent!!
As for its durability over time, it will show since it is still brand new, but the purchase cost is relatively low so the possible early replacement may be negligible....

Well, I had a toaster before that could fit 2 slices of bread but it toasted them too much, resulting in very thin toast. Here, the plates are deep and don't squash the toast, they just touch them resulting in fluffier toast. Contrary to what some say in the comments, it melts the cheese just fine and the bread comes out crispy. One downside is that the build quality, like the plastic parts, is not very good. That's it.
