Continuous supervision is necessary when inserting the batteries into the charger slots in order to charge them. The reason is that due to its construction, the charging base does not hold the batteries properly in place, resulting in the charging process being interrupted with the slightest vibration. As a result, you may think that the batteries are charged after a while, but they are not at all. I would not recommend it.
