Well... I have been using the Raspberry Pi 3B+ since 2018. Literally, it does everything!!! I have installed over 30 software on it, out of which 28 worked well, including full Windows 10 with WOA, which ran relatively well. You can access YouTube and wherever else you want, but you can't play games at the same time... However, it is perfect for projects and web browsing. I highly recommend it.
I have it for a few months now and it really worths all its money, I have Rasbian installed and it works flawlessly. You need to spend 2-3€ for heatsinks (small coolers) to prevent temperatures from rising above +60°. It is ideal for office work, school, students, and Retro gaming with Retropie. I also have a video on YouTube if you want to see it better, I explain everything there.

I bought it to turn it into a retro gaming machine using Retropie - with minimal effort, I can play my old games from PSX, as well as SNES, GameBoy, and many others without any problems.
On a second memory card, I set up a desktop machine using Raspbian for lightweight tasks.
And all of this fits almost in a pocket.
Along with its capabilities, its price has increased quite a bit, I would say. I have 4-5 of them and I use them in various ways. Mainly in automation applications in multimedia applications. They work flawlessly and continuously.
I got it just for emulation station, I installed retropie and loaded roms and it's the perfect gaming console for old retro games! I only connected a keyboard (not even a mouse, just with the joypad) at the beginning to enter the WiFi code. Now I have it behind the TV, it opens up and you can choose a game right away.
I have it for wifi access point, traffic analyzer, http proxy, SMB/SFTP file server, video server, web server + personal cloud (bookmarks, notes, documents, etc.), development machine, etc.
It is powered on 24/7, so it has more than paid for itself ;-)
For those of you who want to use it for similar non-stop use, DO NOT use it with a microSD, you will cry for the card due to the many writes. Only use it with a regular external 2.5" hard drive and a proper power supply.
It is very good for various DIY projects. It has enough power even for building consoles. Check here how to make your own playstation and more: https://youtu.be/cVx2-IIF790
For the money, what else can it do for you, I use it for retro games and it does the job and more, it definitely needs a cooler on the processor because it gets quite hot, it has built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and there are endless internet pages with guides and tutorials for whatever you want to build
Just what I needed for custom made projects. In one project, I had an old laptop and the raspberry fully replaced it both functionally and aesthetically.
In other words, it's an amazing tool! I bought it to have raspbian and retropie installed on it, to begin with. It requires some reading, obviously whoever buys it knows more or less what they want. It comes with 1-2 euro heat sinks to keep the temperatures in check. Now, giving it 3 stars for the charger? Well, get the original one and you won't have such worries.
I also want to connect it with Amazon Alexa and have it connected to my Samsung TV. It has a bit of a process, but I believe I will manage.
Overall, there are endless possibilities with it. For me, using it as a media player is the least of it.
I truly give it 5 stars!
I got it as a media center and it does its job perfectly, just be careful when inserting the SD card, gentle movements
I have it for movies, if someone wants it exclusively for retro gaming, they have to download img files specifically for it. Most image files work for the pie3. It is also a very good purchase for any project you want to easily find and install
For a few extra euros than the basic B model, it's worth getting this specific one. Higher clock speed, better performance, 5ghz wifi for just 4-5 euros more, not even worth discussing.
Very good product and very famous. But you will need some heatsink to keep it cool and a small fan. I use it to play games with a software called Retro Pie, which is an emulator for the Raspberry Pi. But I might get a new memory card to download the Raspbian software. I would sell it for €70 because the CHIP, RAM, 4 USB 2.0 Ports, Ethernet, and other features are worth getting it
Problematic with the power supply, it requires more than 2.5 amps to have stable operation. No discussion about a regular mobile charger
