The worst thing I have bought for facial cleansing! It promises makeup removal but in no way does it work, no matter how much you use! I bought it as a facial cleansing soap but it doesn't resemble soap at all! No matter how many times you apply it to your face, it doesn't remove makeup or clean! Pure disappointment! I would never buy it again!
This is not a cleanser in any way. Maybe for removing makeup and that's it. After that, you need a decent soap to clean your face. And it's not a matter of quantity, because even if you use more, it doesn't change anything. This product simply does not clean. I give it 2 stars because at least it doesn't have a bad smell and it doesn't dry out the skin afterwards.
My skin loves it and rightfully so! I use it either as a standalone cleanser to remove external impurities when I haven't applied makeup, or as a second step in double cleansing-makeup removal. It immediately calms the redness of my sensitive skin and makes it appear cleaner, brighter, healthier, and moisturized. I plan to try the corresponding gel that finally came out in the Greek market.
Very satisfied! I have very dry and sensitive skin and this cleanser suited me very well! It doesn't have a strong smell (it has a subtle "medicinal" scent) and it doesn't dry out the dehydrated skin at all. It doesn't sting or irritate the eyes at all - I also use it as an eye makeup remover because I don't wear a lot of makeup and not often. (If you use layers of concealer, makeup, and powders, it's obvious that it's not enough on its own to provide deep cleansing.)
I will buy it again.
Having combination skin, I bought it in winter when I had dryness, for morning cleansing when I don't want something strong. It did a good job. It has no scent, doesn't foam because it's more like a cream, doesn't pull the skin afterwards, and for non-oily skin, it's perfect if there are issues with dryness. It also took a long time to finish.
It cleanses the skin nicely. I don't feel my skin pulling. I use it to remove makeup by doing double cleansing. I have dry skin and recently had some pimples. This cleanser does not cause irritation and has no scent. I use 1 to 2 pumps depending on how deep of a cleanse I want to do. I will buy it again!
Having used Apivita with olive for years and having sensitive skin with irritations and redness, I bought this after reading the reviews. Also, I was drawn to the larger packaging in ml compared to my previous facial cleanser.
I can't say that I was thrilled, it definitely needs a second application to effectively remove makeup, so the larger quantity will last less and it has a strange smell (despite being advertised as odorless) that bothers me. The feeling it leaves afterwards is okay.
I will finish the packaging but I don't think I will buy it again.
It has a creamy texture but when you add water it foams and effectively cleanses the skin. It has minimal and good ingredients, without any fragrance (fortunately). With one swipe, it doesn't easily remove oil, dirt, etc., but on the second swipe, it's great. I recommend it.
For combination skin in winter (for those in need of hydration), it is very good. It cleans deeply without drying out, although it requires a small amount. Fortunately, it does not contain alcohol or fragrance and is good for sensitive skin
I have dry skin and this product is an excellent choice for the second step of the double cleansing routine that I follow. It doesn't tug at all and it contains at least two good ingredients such as niacinamide and ceramides, which are greatly needed for dry skin. Of course, I don't expect it to remove the most stubborn makeup as it is a very gentle product for the skin, and this need is covered by using a balm or cleansing oil that dissolves makeup and sunscreen with color. Also, although the La Roche-Posay website states that it is not for cleansing the eyes, I use it in this area and I don't have any discomfort. In conclusion, it is an exceptional product for gentle cleansing of dry skin as it removes residues from already dissolved makeup and environmental pollutants without drying out the skin.
Extremely disappointing facial cleanser. Not suitable for makeup removal as no matter how much I use it, there are always residues left and it leaves a greasy feeling as if it contains oil. I have oily skin and it did not suit me at all. Cerave, once again Cerave.
This particular company is renowned for its facial cleansers and I have been using water in the name of effaclar, but this product is very gentle and at the same time effective. Although it does not foam, it cleans effectively.
Nice face cleansing cream for the morning. It leaves it moisturized, it doesn't pull and it leaves a feeling of cleanliness compared to the CeraVe cleansing cream. It also contains Niacinamide, Panthenol, and Ceramides. I believe it suits all skin types and it's a shame that the company hasn't released the Toleriane Gel cleanser from the line yet, and it's only available in the American market.
Quite a good cleansing cream and a large quantity for the price. However, once again, one needs to do a deeper cleansing/exfoliation once a week. The only complaint I have about this particular product is that it causes a burning sensation in my eyes and on open wounds if you have any on your face (for example, I had herpes and whenever the product touched the herpes, I felt it). They need to improve the formula.
I have dry skin and whatever cleanser I tried "pulled" afterwards. This is perfect. With one pump, the product removes makeup well, cleanses, and doesn't pull afterwards. No scent at all, very gentle for the skin. And at a very good price
I have combination skin but at the same time sensitive, as all the cleansers I have tried so far dry out my skin from slightly to very much, resulting in oiliness within 10 minutes and eventually causing breakouts. I decided to try this product even though I didn't really believe it would do the perfect job, but this is not just the best so far, it's the best!! It has a creamy light texture that makes you feel like it's doing its job while you wash your face!! It cleans perfectly, leaves the skin very soft, fresh, and hydrated, it doesn't make your skin oily after a while, it doesn't dry out and it doesn't clog pores, it works great in both winter and summer! It has amazing ingredients and it's almost odorless! I simply loved it!!!
As a fan of both the company and this specific line, which is targeted towards sensitive skin like mine, I have to say only the best. First of all, let's clarify that this product is not intended for makeup removal. It is a facial cleanser. If you want to do both cleansing and makeup removal with the same product, then this one is not for you. Secondly, it does not foam and will not foam no matter how much product you use. This does not mean that it doesn't do its job properly. It does not irritate the skin, cause any pulling sensation or discomfort, even on extremely sensitive and prone to skin conditions. I use it morning and night and saw results already in the first week of application. Give it a try, and you will see that a facial cleanser can be an extremely pleasant experience.
Excellent product especially for sensitive combination skin like mine. It is creamy, soft, moisturizing, and does not leave a tight feeling. I use it in the morning when I don't have makeup for a gentle cleanse and as a second step of cleansing when I remove my makeup at night. I recommend it!
I don't know why all the comments say it's not suitable for makeup. As a first step for facial cleansing, it removes makeup (even sunscreen), but in no case can you have just one step. Then follow micellar water and toner, etc. I recommend it.
25 years old with combination skin. Oily T-zone with blackheads and normal skin on the rest of the face. Perfect product for cleansing as with careful massage on the T-zone, the external pores on my nose were significantly cleaned in just one minute, morning and night. Always use cleansing products with lukewarm to warm water because dirt doesn't come off with cold water. And never use hot water because it strips the skin of its natural oils. I think products like this should be used by all skin types because they clean what needs to be cleaned. However, it is not ideal for makeup removal, especially heavy makeup.
People with oily skin should understand that if a soap removes oil and makes the skin matte, it doesn't mean it's good because in half an hour, your face will become oily again and all you will have achieved is putting a strong cleanser on your face that will disrupt the pH balance and hydration of your skin.
For my dry skin, it does a very good job of cleansing, and with a second application, it removes makeup well even when I wear heavy makeup (it is definitely not the perfect makeup remover, of course). It doesn't pull my skin afterwards, which means it is not an aggressive product and respects the natural oils of the face that protect us.
And we all need to understand that even for oily skin, such cleansers should be used and not harsh soaps or foams that leave the skin dull like sandpaper. And when I had oily skin before the acne treatment with pills, I thought that a cleanser that would remove all the oiliness from me would be good.
Wrong, because we all with oily skin know that the oiliness will return in an hour at most... and we will have already dehydrated our face!
One of the best cleansers for those suffering from Rosacea or have very sensitive skin. It has no fragrance, does not foam, does not pull the skin, rinses off perfectly without leaving any residue. Although I have not used it for makeup removal, I have the feeling that it is not suitable for this job. I will definitely buy it again
It is very good for washing very sensitive skin. It cleans without drying or pulling the skin afterwards. However, it is not suitable for makeup removal. After rinsing, though, it is ideal for feeling clean on your face. It does not lather, but it does not irritate even the most reactive skin, like mine
