I bought an H1 set and an H7 set.
Each set includes a pair of bulbs.
I replaced the bulbs, the medium and the high beam.
On the right are the old bulbs, on the left are the crystal vision.
Completely satisfied...
Also, on the box it says: lifetime up to 400h.
So, depending on the usage, everyone can understand how long they are expected to last...
Easy installation.
Moderate intensity due to the projector.
The only positive thing is the white color and nothing else.
I have installed them on a BMW E90 at the end of '21. So far, they still have the same intensity and color. They do not create any issues with the canbus. They have a slightly higher brightness compared to the stock bulbs. In other cars, they do not dazzle much (unless they are raised too high). For their price, they are excellent. Choose these over some fake LEDs and fake xenons in headlights without projectors.
I've had it for a year... 24,000 km or two. From a mom's C4 where only one burned out... After 16 years with 140,000 km... There is a difference in lighting if we don't consider the wear of the bulb... BUT for it to burn out in such a short time and without driving at night often with less than 10,000 km a year... I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS... That's the second star. For the lighting, which is a bit better. I got the Crystal... for my Renault Clio. Let's see... I'm probably going for Osram Philips, no way...
I have been using it for years on various cars. It works great. They are just the right amount of white (not too much and not too little).
Since I got them in November, I haven't had any problems either with the installation or with the use. In terms of power, very mediocre things. Medium scale, barely able to see at 12 meters (without lights around you)
Installed on Opel Astra H since last October
The color is towards warm white
In terms of intensity, I am not so satisfied, especially on rainy days
They are comfortable, they don't tire you if you drive for many hours, and they don't bother the oncoming drivers
Although when one of them burns out, I will go for diamond or simple halogen
They are excellent, you don't even need to turn on the high beam. The car's lighting has improved by 70%. The angles have opened up a lot without bothering other drivers. To do their job properly, they need to be combined with a good headlight restoration.
I decided to buy the whole series of H1, H7, and H11 to make my car have slightly cooler lights.
In the H7, the crossing/direction lights burned out, both of them, one after 9 months and the other over time.
Other than that, they are Halogen with slightly cooler light.
Nice, but not.
I wanted a clean white light of 4300k and this achieves it 100%. As for the brightness, it's great, I didn't expect miracles from a halogen bulb. I chose them for both a large scale and for the spotlights. It remains to be seen how durable they are.
Better in terms of beauty compared to the yellow (factory) ones, but not suitable for traveling, especially on rainy roads. You can't see anything.
They have a nice white color (not towards blue) and they don't strain during driving, but neither the opposite. The intensity is just good, nothing special, they have a better opening angle than the regular ones. The packaging comes with 2 pieces of w5w for the small ones, but they are quite yellow (I thought they would have the same white light but they don't). I will buy them again, as long as I see the lifespan.
Satisfactory brightness and nice white color. The color from the included bulbs varies slightly and illuminates a more yellowish color. Not something tragic though.
With a maximum usage of 10 hours, one of them exploded and filled the lantern with debris! I will have to remove it and empty it! They raise the temperature quite a bit!
The only positive thing is their very easy installation and the nice white light - for the "effect".
But: Their light, although in the city it may give you the illusion that it is a nice white, on a trip outside the city it is prohibitively low intensity. In rain and at night, that's where you can't see anything. If you were planning to buy them for a trip, STAY AWAY.
I have bought three pairs in 4 years because all of them burned out within a year and something. Their color is satisfactory (white to yellow) but EXTREMELY WEAK, especially in complete darkness and heavy rain!
This time, when they burned out, I put back the factory yellow ones and realized how terrible the Crystal Vision ones were.
When I decide to remove the factory ones, it will be for LED this time.
It has a nice shade of white 4300 K - I hope the shade remains and lasts the 400 - 450 hours mentioned in the packaging.
Philips crystal vision 1100lm. Good bulbs, in VW Passat 1.8 TSI, 2008 model, good visibility and white color, easy installation if your hands are a little skilled, maybe the +60% or 120% need a little more intensity to shine brighter, no fault indication on the dashboard. It also has 2 spare bulbs and the set looks nice.
In a VW Polo TDI 1.4 from 2015, I installed the Philips white vision +60% and 1400 lm, much better result. They are worth their money.
Compared to the stock lights, they are whiter, but not as much as I would like. In terms of depth, they are as good as the stock lights, but I would prefer them to be stronger and shine in more meters. In terms of width, they shine much better, opening up like fog lights. Much better visibility on the right and left. I don't have an opinion yet on how durable they are. They will be tested in all conditions: heat, fog, snow, rain, and ice. I would like the same product with more range. The ones I found were all in yellow color (+120% and +150%).
Update 10/2/24: I had to replace them because they didn't provide enough illumination on the road, making driving tiring. If something flew at 50 meters or if there were potholes at that distance, it was already too late. I spent 40€ and got +200% illumination. Now I have satisfactory results without bothering the oncoming traffic. Of course, they are not white, but they are fatigue-free.
Finally, normal colors at night.
The previous bulb that existed was so intensely yellow that it was the reason that led to the search for a better bulb, resulting in this specific CrystalVision.
Perhaps the intensity of the lighting is about 5% lower than the previous one, but it doesn't bother. The shade is the best one can hope for.
Very nice bright white color. Strong enough. To the point where it bothers the front. Makes the night day
Nice bulbs, they fit in R6, there was a difference in color temperature but the intensity is the same, they are not stronger than regular ones.
For anyone who wants to have whiter light, yes!!
For anyone who wants visibility on the road, no!!
Very poor lighting at night with difficulty... it says it in the specifications, 1140lm not 1500lm. The h11 bulbs, whether I turn them on or not, are the same (only 900lm).
I should add that I have projectors, clear headlights, and height adjustment by an electrician
In a Peugeot 2008 '14, the middle scale was installed. It has a nice white light, but unfortunately it is not enough. In a dark country road, they don't cover you at all.
Philips is a reliable brand. I have used their products on my Ford Focus mk1 in the middle range and the difference from the stock lights is tremendous. I have been using the same model for years, in H4 on my previous car, and I was always satisfied with the color and durability. The color is soothing and clean. I recommend the crystal vision lights to anyone who wants white light and doesn't want to install xenon or LED lights. Bonus points for the matching T10 position bulbs that Philips includes with each set
Worn on a baby in combination with h8 cool blue intense bulbs of similar temperature.. very good lighting and white color.. for those who don't want to deal with canbus and bixenon
They were installed in a Kia Ceed II with projectors. They replaced the Philips White Vision.
The light is whiter compared to the previous ones, but the intensity and dispersion of the light are at lower levels, even though the previous ones were already a year and a half old with any impact on their performance.
Also, the beam is uneven, something that did not happen with the previous ones.
Because I travel quite a bit at night on dark roads, I would describe them as borderline in terms of visibility, while in a city with the street lights on, I have the impression that the lights are off.
The only positive thing is that they relatively match the temperature of the car's LEDs.
If you want, look at some other Philips halogen bulbs, even if they are more yellow, or else turn to LED solutions, which are more expensive but worth their money.
I don't know if it happened to me or if their durability is just that low. The first one burned out in 6 months, the second one in 2 years. The difference with genuine halogen bulbs is minimal, only about 20% whiter. I will switch to LED lights that I found without the need for conversion to a lamp
The lighting color is quite good, I chose them because the classic yellow halogen bulbs that the polo has didn't match the daytime LED headlights it has. Now it is a quite satisfactory result in terms of beauty.
They were installed on a 2013 i30 in the middle range. No comparison to the factory ones or the regular ones. The Osram LEDriving Premium SL were installed on the turn signals. Very good combination
For their price, they are the best, very beautiful and bright compared to the classic ones. In Opel Corsa D 09, there was no need for cutting plastic or anything. Purchased from allcars professionals.
I put them on a Kia Sorento '03.
The headlights are the classic ones with a mirror.
I put them on the middle level.
Compared to the regular ones I had before, NO COMPARISON. Big difference in brightness and color. Pure white.
They don't bother other cars at all.
And at this price (14€) I will definitely put them on again.
As for the lifespan, I have no opinion. I will come back when they burn out.
