As a holder of the previous T001 EVO and now the T005 on two cars, I can only say the best things. On dry surfaces, the tires are stellar; there’s nothing more to say. However, in wet conditions, I have never encountered such a good tire, simply never. It can be 0°C outside with rain, and the grip is there from the first moment—AMAZING RUBBER. They are also extremely quiet and smooth while rolling.
The only characteristic that can be considered both negative and positive is the very soft sidewall (don’t confuse soft with sensitive). If we look at this characteristic positively, these specific tires really absorb bumps to a very, very large extent; you hit a pothole and feel like you’re in a different car (much softer sidewall than the T001 EVO). The same characteristic can also become negative as it affects the immediacy of the steering; you feel the car float slightly.
These specific tires also have a clear break-in period where their linen settles, so when you first put them on, they may appear a bit higher and slightly narrower than you expected, but this changes in the first 1000 km.
Mounted on Alfa Mito 205/55/16 and Skoda Felicia 175/65/14.
P.S. I have loved them so much that I intend to replace the Pirelli P Zero I have on an Alfa Brera (225/40/18) with Turanza on the next change.

The tires are now 5 years old with 25,000 km; they now slip and unfortunately are unpredictable, from understeer to oversteer to "will it take the turn?" In my hands, they are nice because I make all the corrections; in my mother's hands, it might not be the best idea. I regretted it, the tires slip quite a bit compared to the previous ones and they don't give me any sense of safety on the road. It feels like I put a very cheap tire, compared to the previous ones. I compare the same dimensions and speed index. 205/55/16. Today, 30/01/24, a rainy day, I saw the anti-spin working non-stop, the tires are going in the trash. I wasted my money, never again.

Tested on a snowy road, it performed excellently for a month without the car getting stuck, even though it was on the verge of needing chains. I can't comment on the noise because the Mondeo has one of the worst soundproofing. After 4.5 years, of course, they have worn out and the performance has decreased, but they still provide good grip. It is also obvious that with my eyes closed, the same ones will be installed in a few months.

Very satisfied because:
1. They have relatively reinforced sidewalls, so you have a good feel on the steering wheel.
2. Satisfactory braking in dry and wet conditions.
The noise levels are moderate.
After 45,000 km and almost 4 years, their performance has decreased, but for me, it is perfectly acceptable.
I don't care how they behave in the snow because they are not tires for such use.

Did you find this review helpful?I have been using this tire since 2018 on a Ford Mondeo - a relatively heavy car - and I am very satisfied with its grip on both dry and wet roads, as well as its durability.
Especially in the first 2 years, its grip on wet roads was exceptional, even compared to Michelin tires which I traditionally preferred.
Of course, after 4 years of cold and hot weather, thousands of kilometers, patched holes from screws and nails in 3 out of 4 tires, it is not possible for them to have the same performance as in the beginning, but they still hold up.
As for the noise, it has gradually increased because the tire has hardened, but it is still not worse than others.

Did you find this review helpful?I found the tires on a Lancia Delta 844 from the previous owner, they are just before two years old and they are like new. I had the exact same size on an Alfa Romeo 147 with Pilot Sport 3 and 4, which I was completely satisfied with in terms of performance and handling, but not so much in terms of wear, especially with the 4, where I noticed significant wear after just a few kilometers on dirt roads.
edit: In 20000km of my own driving in one year (which is about 3 years and close to 40000km in total), I see minimal wear, comparable to what I would see on the PS4 in one year. Visually, I don't see any difference in performance. I just rotated the front and rear tires. The tread looks brand new, the wear is only visible where the tread meets the sidewall. The car is in excellent condition in terms of suspension and alignment, so it seems that this particular tire wears in this way.
In summary, the T005 tires have good performance in both dry and wet conditions, and a very durable tread. They don't have the predictable sliding of Michelin tires, and they have slightly more rolling noise. However, since I haven't tried the PS4 on the Delta, it could be a car-specific issue. Logically, the PS4 tires are slightly better in terms of performance, but without the direct steering of the 147, I don't think it's worth the cost and significant wear.
The T005 is a true touring tire, with no issues in mixed use on Greek roads. I will likely choose it for my next change as well.

My own experience: I drive an Opel Astra cdti 1.3 hatchback 2007 model, I drive 100 kilometers every day (due to work) 22 working days per month, therefore 26,000 kilometers per year just for work (total with trips and related about 33,000 kilometers per year). I also drive on dirt roads almost on a daily basis. I had the Turanza T005 tires as a first test on the 19th, based on the opinion of a friend who is an expert on tires. Incredible grip on dry roads, as for wet roads, I give them an 8 out of 10. Noise? I have good sound insulation in my car, so it doesn't affect me much! Braking on dry roads is excellent, but on wet roads, I would give it an 8 out of 10. Now you might ask, what kind of driving do you do with a 1300? Well, I push the car to its limits in turns and the tires held up just fine. As for the warming up that some comments mention, relax guys, you're not driving Formula 1, so you don't have the corresponding tires... Bridgestone tires are hard and need some distance to warm up, that's why they last longer. We can't have it all in life, so calm down! And also, the suspension is an important factor, guys!!! Dead suspensions won't make the tires perform well, and half of the negative comments here, I bet you don't even know the condition of your shocks, so to have a general idea, first check all the factors!!! I hope I helped! Update 04/3/23! I see people saying that it wore out on the sides, that it skids with a little gas, come on guys... For the sides, my friend, go and check the steering system, the ball joints, the sway bars, the shocks, etc., and then give your opinion on the result! I spin them a few times to wear down the rubber in hopes of better grip. If they don't improve, I will buy two front tires from a different brand to avoid any accidents. Unfortunately, they are also expensive, especially in such difficult economic times.

I have done 50,000 km.
The decrease in initial excellent performance is 40%.
I have had them since 9/2019 and I am still satisfied. I will change them again in a month and I will put the same ones.
I have done 28,000 km with these specific tires in 2.5 years. So far, I am absolutely satisfied with the grip on wet and dry roads.
From 27,000 km onwards, I see increased wear on the sides and a slight small tear.
They have also started to show slight signs of slipping when the steering wheel is turned significantly. Very minimal, it just shows that the bending has started. I estimate they can easily handle another 15,000 km.
Previous tires I had were the Toyo Proxes TR1 205/55R16 91W, which had slightly better performance at the same mileage.

I consider the tires to be generally good, but they are aimed at those who drive conservatively and don't ask for anything more. The negatives are that they take a while to warm up and that after 18000 km, there was noticeable wear on the sides (which surprised me), with two of the tires ultimately blowing out. I note that I always had the correct tire pressure and did not ride on curbs, etc

Did you find this review helpful? I wear them on a Mazda 6 1.800 cc. So far, I have driven 5000 kilometers.
-Dry road: very good performance in city driving conditions and on trips! Since I don't usually drive fast, I can't say much about grip at high speeds and such. At normal speeds of 100 to 140 km/h on the highway, I didn't have any issues. Also, their sidewalls have been resistant to hits on the sidewalk.
-Wet road: they are the best tires I have put on my car in terms of performance in the rain. Excellent braking in heavy rain conditions and even in a situation where the car in front of me stopped abruptly! They are equally good in acceleration on wet roads, as they don't easily spin.
The only negative here is the aquaplaning that occurs when you hit a puddle with one wheel at high speed. It is a bit abrupt and surprises you if you don't expect it, but it's not so intense that you lose control or the car reacts strangely!
-Noise: they are also quite good in terms of noise. Of course, this also has to do with the car's soundproofing. However, compared to the Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires I had before, the Bridgestone tires are clearly quieter.
I would definitely put them on again.
Update: 9,000 kilometers and they are still like new!
In heavy rain on the Egnatia Thessaloniki - Serres highway at a speed of about 100 kilometers per hour, I didn't encounter any problems, neither in the journey nor in braking! The car was very stable!
Final Update: I come back with 50,000 kilometers now and I have to say the following:
The tires wore out normally throughout the year and have reached a point where they need to be replaced.
It is very pleasant that they started to spin in slippery road starts just recently (around 47,000 kilometers), when the previous tires I had, the Pirelli P7, were in the same condition and were replaced at around 40,000 kilometers.
Lastly, I would like to note that even now the tires pass the unofficial 2-euro test! Meaning, their grooves have a depth equal to the silver rim of a 2-euro coin, if not less. The previous tires on my car (Nissan pulsar 1.5 D) were Continental EcoContact 5, which were heavily worn at 40000 km. Compared to the Continental EcoContact 5, the Bridgestone tires are a step up. They provide much better grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The fact that they have lasted for 65000 km (most of which were on highways at speeds of 140-150) and that they are cheaper than other Premium tires makes them a top choice in terms of price and performance.
