  I don't have an opinion on cold, therefore.
  For hot. We fill it with boiling water in the morning and we have hot water (meaning more than 40 degrees) for about 10 hours, plus 1-2 hours. While I have seen it keep the water lukewarm for 12 hours.

  Is the Chilly's Matte the best and most affordable thermos purchase?
  Yes it is!!!!!!!!
  My conclusion and review are not based solely on the purchase of a 750ml Chilly's thermos that impressed me, I gave it 5 stars and everything is good!
  Because I like to research a bit with every purchase, I read reviews and watch some comparative tests mainly on YouTube by foreign commentators, specifically in our case regarding the comparison and purchase of a good thermos.
  I am not advertising this particular product but it is worth it and it is cheaper than the above top brands and better than some!
  Now the comparative test I did on the thermoses I have from top brands.
  I put 8 ice cubes in each, left them in the same space and under the same conditions, then I observed them to see which one would keep the cold water longer.
  The two affordable ones had melted ice cubes and the water was lukewarm - THE END!
  In the Chilly's, and in the top ones, the ice cubes were almost intact!
  After 24 hours, the ice cubes were about 2/3 melted in both and with some small differences in order as I rank them from best to worst, with Chilly's being the first!
  Yes, Chilly's is the best of all, much cheaper than the top ones and more expensive!
  ***New test with a top thermos that claims to keep water cold for 60 hours is on YouTube and generally on the internet in all the tests of "big" famous thermos with very good reviews!!!
  I put eight identical ice cubes in both (Chilly's 500ml & ...........590ml) and left them until the ice cubes turned into water.
  RESULT! The big and more expensive one! melted them in 38 hours ....... good!!!!????
  The non-existent one in all the comparative tests of all the famous thermos abroad, and cheaper, Chilly's ........UNBELIEVABLE AND YET TRUE! 60 whole hours!!!!!!!! Two and a half days!!!!!
  Imagine that I have tested it with all the famous top thermos and it is by far the best!
  My friends, before I write a review for a product, I have already tested it and my opinion does not only concern the product I bought and everything is good!
  So I believe I helped some friends in choosing a good and honest thermos like in my case, the Chilly's!!!

Good construction, the only observation is that if something falls, it is relatively easy to create dents and other distortions on the lid. So, I put hot tea and left it from 9 pm until 8 am and I can say that the tea was very hot. Not scalding, but very hot. I bought the burgundy one for my wife, which is very beautiful, and the blue one for myself, which is just nice. I didn't want black because scratches would show, nor inox because fingerprints would show. Just so you know, it doesn't fit in all car cup holders. For example, it doesn't fit in a Fiat Panda, but it fits in a Hyundai Accent. I hope I helped.

The odors, which other users mention, are relative, as they are caused by what you have eaten earlier. However, what I find unacceptable is how easily marks and even worse, dents are created on the outside of the bottle.
