I received them a week ago, I have installed them in mine and my wife's car. The day before yesterday at 3+30 in the morning, someone unknown (of course wearing a hood) tried to steal mine, broke the passenger window which was on the sidewalk, immediately went to the driver's seat, turned on the light with his mobile phone and saw it! He searched the compartments and left within 2 minutes. With a €10 investment, I saved my car! Of course, now I will also install an alarm. As for the installation, I am tall and fit, and I install it when I am outside the vehicle within 10 seconds, the same when I remove it. Take it with closed eyes!!

The job it can do just fine and the padlock looks good but it is not at all convenient for everyday use. Putting it on and taking it off is really a hassle. It's only worth it for cases when you leave your car parked for a few days in my opinion.

Did you find this review helpful?Before purchasing, check if the pedal of your car is narrow or wider. In the second case, the lock will not fit. It happened with mine (a 2005 BMW). What I did was "open" its width with another piece of iron that I placed in between (about 30mm thickness) so that it would bend and widen to a medium height. You will need to use some force to do it.

In order to work properly, the pedal that you will install it on (I recommend the clutch) should be like mine in the photo. If for example, the iron is round, the lock will keep turning on you... As for the difficulty that some people mention, it hasn't been difficult for me at all, it's a matter of a few seconds to put it on and take it off. Also, I liked that the key is not simple - it is a disc-detainer lock, so it requires a separate burglary tool from the other locks.
Anyway, no matter what, if someone experienced enough sets their eyes on your car, I don't think this or any other lock will stop them. It might just deter the less experienced or someone who came without the proper tool.
