As Whitehood said, guys, it really doesn't have a non-slip grip. Only if you have wet hands, it might close, but still very difficult
I didn't like it, it doesn't have a non-slip grip at all good and for 280lbs it says it's harder than a 350lb heavy grip...
It is very difficult for 127 kilograms. Quantity-wise, just to understand, because I had reached a point where I was closing the classic adjustable to the max resistance (40kg) for 25-30 repetitions, I decided to go up. I can barely close this one 1-2 times. An intermediate level is needed first
After 115 kilos, the skin starts to tear, so put adhesive tape 2-3 turns, so it doesn't slip, you don't sweat, and you can put more force because you don't feel pain.
Much harder than the 200lb X-fit / Heavy grips, clearly harder than their 250lb! (which have the same diameter)
Similarly, much harder than the 200lb RPM, slightly harder than their 250lb.
The actual strength needed to fully close it, exerted in the middle of the handle, is 83kg. Compared to the classic, plastic, adjustable 40kg, it is 3 times harder.
Practically, it is for quite strong/well-trained individuals.
Otherwise, it's fine.
The only downside is that it easily tears my hands, but overall, I wouldn't recommend it for an ungrateful person
Exactly as I expected. It is durable and makes no noise during use. The only thing I could say as a negative, from the use I have made of it so far, is that it slips, so you have to clean and dry it well before use (or between repetitions). I highly recommend it.
Very good for good results convenient enough in hand.
Negatives:
(Perhaps it happened in mine) it makes a noise and it seems like it has rusted, and if you are in a quiet space, it can be heard and it is uncomfortable, for example, in the classroom where I use it.
Also, the grip hurts a lot in the hands if you use it for a long time, and generally, if you have soft hands, I do not recommend it due to training, work, etc. I'm okay.
Overall, it's worth its money and it won't break in any way.
Very hard, but this also brings better results, just be careful not to constantly injure your wrist
Very powerful, some say that because it is metallic it slips, I say that they don't have the strength to close it and they don't have a good grip. If you are a beginner, check out something with less weight. I will come back later if something happens.
Very powerful. The only negative thing I can find is that its construction is entirely made of "iron," which causes it to slip if you hold it for a long time. However, the likelihood of holding it for such a long time is minimal, so it's fine
Indeed, a reinforced spring. It compresses minimally. It can even provide frontal chest resistance for anyone who wants, with both hands.
Very good material, but it seems to me that it weighs more than 200 lbs compared to other heavy grips of the same weight. The only downside, like all heavy grips, is that it fills your hands well.
I have it for a week, it's very good. Someone has reviewed it and says it's 68 kilos. It's not 68. It's 90. You can see it in the title which says 200 (200 pounds = 90 kilos).
For those who are beginners, don't buy it. It's extremely difficult to close it. For those who have been involved in the gym for some years but have relatively weak grip, it's good to start with 40 or less (there are adjustable handles).
When the 40 becomes very easy (meaning you can do at least 20-30 repetitions), then you can move on to this one and gradually increase your strength for the next one.
Useful tool. It has a resistance of 68 kg and is one of the few on the market with a resistance between 40 and 90 kg. The handles that slip are a disadvantage.
Good quality, quite hard which makes it a good spring. I give it 3 stars because the only negative is its handle... it has really destroyed my palm, I got calluses, you should put some fabric or something on the handle.
