The L2 switch is effective in managing data traffic on the network, as it can analyze the content of packets and direct them to the correct path at high speed. It is suitable for small to medium-sized networks, where simple management and reliability in data transmission are required.
It features PoE (Power over Ethernet), a technology that allows the switch to provide power to network devices through the Ethernet cable, without requiring a separate power cable.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Excellent switch for its price, probably the best in its category (and I thoroughly researched them all). Contrary to what the manufacturer claims, it is fully managed. The web interface is good and the CLI is even better (it is even Cisco compatible). It has everything one could want from L2 features (PoE, VLANs, Spanning Tree, L2 and L3 QoS, bandwidth control, voice VLAN, LAGs, logging, SNMP, NTP), and even good security features. If it weren't so small in size and I could blindly connect to it, it would seem like a business class switch to me. Of course, it is not an L3 switch, but with 100 euros it's a bit difficult to find an L3 switch.
[update] After a period of standalone use, I integrated it into the Omada platform that I purchased, with the OC200 hardware controller and two EAP245 access points. Although the switch lost some advanced capabilities and direct management, it gained all the major advantages of the platform for centralized network management (locally and/or via the cloud) and many management capabilities for security, traffic, and usage, as well as monitoring statistics, traffic, events, alerts, etc.
