There is an art form that has sparked general controversy and expressions of aversion: Heavy metal. A musical offshoot of rock music, which expresses a minority of "fans" whose temperament does not conform to stereotypical normality. The book-album GLOBAL NOISE deals with 50 important topics (as many as the years of heavy metal, as it is about to complete half a century of existence), which marked this music and ―by extension― culture and society. The topics vary: Murders, extreme behaviors and musical expressions, religious bands, unimaginable records! This particular book does not aim to rewrite the history of heavy metal. It attempts, through a critical recording of events/elements, to present how this music managed to survive, evolve, and influence almost every aspect of the global community. The original designs of the book have been created using the dot drawing method ― all have been done by hand and then digitally processed.
