Come on guys, seriously, how is it possible for one person to find them amazing and another to say they are the worst...someone who wants to try them gets confused

  • The best I have tried! I wore it on an Opel Astra H 1.6 105ps! The tire lasted me close to 60,000 km over 5 years!! Until 50, it had excellent performance, then it started to lose its performance!!!

  • 205/55/16. Excellent tires for their category. 73000km and still going... incredible!!! I usually changed tires at 40-45000km. Always premium brands with their pros and cons. These are in a category of their own. I will replace them soon. I consider the above kilometers to be a lot since we are entering autumn. The question that arises is: Which of the following will be the new tires? primacy 4 or primacy4+.

After 2.5 years and 45000 km, one tire blew out in the middle of the highway! Although it had good grip in the first year, its performance dropped significantly in the second year. I had chosen them as the best option, but it seems their quality has declined.

I put them in a Ford Focus 1600cc. The first impression is that they are quiet, they have a slight vagueness in the steering, and they are stiff, which means that they strain the mechanical parts of the suspension. Their rubber has aged, I can say a little slower than others in the same category, meaning that they maintained their characteristics for a slightly longer period of time, without this meaning that their performance has decreased over time.
I wouldn't put them again solely because of the hardness I mentioned above.

After 5 years and 50,000km, I have to say that the tire is excellent and I would buy it again!! It performs very well both in dry and wet conditions!! I drive quite a bit outside the city on winding roads and the tires never scared me, even when I pushed them in the rain!! They are not meant for rallying, but they can handle a lot of pressure! Now I will change them and put new ones because although they can withstand another 10-15,000km in terms of tread, they have started to slip in the rain when you push the car on winding roads!! So, let's go for a change to be sure! They still hold up well in relaxed driving!

The tires simply do not exist, I have had them on my car for two years and have driven 20,000km. They are truly suction cups on the road, both on dry and wet surfaces. They warm up very quickly, are silent without making the slightest noise, and in terms of fuel economy, I haven't noticed anything. I would definitely buy them again and again!

In June 2020, I received a 2007 Peugeot 307 diesel. It already had a set of Nexen tires, which I consider to be B-grade tires, low-quality, and in need of replacement. I changed them a month later. Now, with 50,000 km on them, they still hold up well. I deducted one star because Michelin tires have weak sidewalls.
For those who criticize them, I don't blame you. Just consider what tires your manufacturer recommends. Michelin works great on Peugeot and Citroen, but maybe not on Volkswagen and Toyota. The former require Continental, the latter Goodyear...
If I would put them on again... hmm... On one hand, yes, because I was satisfied, but maybe not to try something else...

I have been using Michelin tires for many years, starting from the Michelin Energy to the Primacy HP. The Primacy 4 (205/55/16/91V) was a big disappointment. Terrible grip and after two years, the outer part of the tire developed cracks as if it were 10 years old. And after the first year, it completely loses its grip.

The review concerns the size 195/55 R16.
Factory tires on a Hyundai i20 for a year and a half and approximately 10,000 km. They perform very well both on dry and wet roads. They have spun out only once on a wet uphill road. A characteristic example of their grip is that when driving from Syggrou Avenue to Piraeus, the car enters at 100 km/h without the slightest fear of losing control. Surely the same tires will be installed in the next four years.

I have a Golf that wears 205 55 16 tires. Until now, I was using Continental Sportcontact 2. However, I changed them to Michelin Primacy 4 because I found them at a very good price. After 35,000 km in 3.5 years, they are in pretty good condition except for one bulge on the side that had to be replaced immediately due to safety concerns. You might say that I hit a pothole, but I have also hit them with the previous tires, not just once. With Continental tires, this never happened in 3 replacements. I believe that German quality cannot be compared to anything else, and I will go back to it.

I have worn SoortBlueResponse and they lasted for 45k. Turanza T001 lasted for 45k as well. The primacy tires I already have have lasted for 60k and will definitely last (safely) for another 15k.

3 years and 50,000 km the tires are amazing. 3 years of safety, satisfaction. No abs light has turned on, rarely esp. They still comfortably last for 20,000 km, but I don't risk it due to the location I am in (rain, cold, ice), I will definitely put them on again and I hope they will be just as good. Before, I had the m______s Pirelli Cinturato P7 and I thought they were good, even lasted for 100,000 km with two sets of tires. As soon as I put on the Primacy 4, it felt like I got a new car. No other tire will ever go on my car, only Michelin for safety.

I have experienced two blowouts from a screw in the same tire.
They easily spin in the first few kilometers, whether on wet or dry roads.
They do not perform well in turns if you push them.
They consume a lot of gasoline.
    They are only quiet tires.
They were installed on a Nissan Pulsar DCI 1.5 in March 2020 and now have reached 23,600 kilometers since then. I am not satisfied at all and would change them, but unfortunately, I don't have the money right now.
I paid 330 euros for them, and the tire dealer gave me two pairs with the codes 4619 and 0220, and then he put them on diagonally.
I previously had Vredestein Ultrac Satin tires that lasted me 33,700 kilometers. No comparison with Michelin

I have had them for 6 months and I haven't done more than 6000 kilometers, and the tires slip incredibly both during braking and in turns. I have changed many tire brands and I put Michelin for the first time because I believed they were the best, but unfortunately they are very mediocre. It would have been better if I had chosen another brand. The only good thing is that they don't wear easily, but what's the point if they slip like banana peels!

After 110,000 km, I can say that it is the best tire for Greek roads. Still having tread after 3.5 years and 110,000 km, see the photos. Excellent. And at 100,000 km, minimal wear when cornering. The myth that Michelin tires are soft and wear out quickly is debunked. Of course, I replaced them with the same Primacy 4+

Having a good experience with previous Michelin tires, I installed them on my Citroen C4. Disappointment. Fuel-consuming, hard, especially at the pressures recommended by the manufacturer, even in August they are hard and bumpy. It's the first time I've worn such terrible tires. I paid a lot for them and they will ruin my car. For 50 years, I have been installing Michelin tires on many cars and recommending them to friends and customers. Now, I will never buy them again or recommend them. I have 3 cars and none of them have Michelin tires anymore. I used to be a car mechanic and worked with tires in Germany. I never encountered such a problem.

I had a bmw 116d runflat good year 205/55/16 91v. I switched to primacy4 in the same dimensions with a conventional tire. The difference is noticeable mainly in the noise and elasticity (softer). I have been using it for a short time and I don't have an opinion on its behavior in wet conditions and its lifespan. Its grip on dry pavement is simply exceptional. At this time, it also has a good price (Michelin offers a discount coupon) and equally important, a one-year warranty.

I read some comments before buying them like "they don't brake well on dry pavement", "the ABS activates", and things like that. If some people don't know how to drive or drive like buckets and think they are driving a Porsche, they should buy a Porsche instead and corresponding tires or stop driving. These specific ones are the best you can buy for their money.

Whatever I say is not enough. I've had them for a year, amazing tires, wet or dry they don't come off the road. Whenever I needed to brake, they stop easily.

For those who think they are F1 pilots, this tire or any other tire doesn't work like that. They shouldn't be driving at all.

    P.S.

After 5 years and over 80,000 km, they have reached their end. Even now they don't lose grip at all, neither in dry nor in wet conditions. Obviously, I will buy them again.

I have the Citroen C3 2019, the Michelin Primacy 4 205/55R16 91V tires came with the car from the factory as it was brand new. Today I changed them as I reached 47,134 kilometers since I bought it! And I changed them because the first signs of wear appeared. (Note that I often drive on gravel roads) It's the first time a tire lasted so long, in previous years with my Peugeot 206 05 I had to change them, within 2 years and 60,000 kilometers, 3 tires from budget brands and I was not satisfied. Today I bought the Michelin Primacy 4 again!

I change tires every year (due to taxi use), usually in autumn when the rains start. Despite having tried the Energy tires two years ago and not being very satisfied, after the encouragement of the tire shop owner, I decided to try Michelin again. As soon as I put them on, I felt like I had changed my car. It should be noted that I have driven 600,000 km, so some noise is acceptable. However, to my amazement, it feels like I have installed a silencer. I feel like I'm driving on cotton because of the noticeable difference. The grip is perfect both on dry and wet roads, with normal or slightly fast driving whenever our work requires it. I don't have an opinion on fuel efficiency because I believe that the most important thing is how you press the accelerator, not the type of tire you use. I will definitely buy them again unless something better comes out. P.S. If something dramatically changes, I will come back to update

Perhaps the worst tire I have ever bought! I had Continental EcoContact 6, but unfortunately, I decided to switch to Michelin Primacy 4 due to the reviews and ratings I read. These specific tires have only one positive aspect, that they are quiet! Beyond that, they are at least dangerous! At speeds over 50 km/h, the only thing certain is that you will skid until the car stops (if it manages to stop, of course...). The same goes for turns, you don't even realize when the car's rear end will slide! I have almost 15,000 kilometers and for the past 2 years, I have been begging for winter to come so that I can put on the SAVA winter tires I have, just to feel at least safe! Unacceptable tire for Michelin, especially considering the price! After all, we learn from our mistakes... Continental is the solution!

In CITROEN C4 2015 diesel, I think they are the best I have tried. They make no noise at all and are very stable on dry and wet roads. I put them on 10/05/2020 and they made a big difference in driving. We are always talking about careful driving with a family car and mostly for kilometers on the national road. Also, I was torn between these and the continental premium contact 6. I think they are also one of the best choices for these tires in 205 55 16.
