Amateur use. Based on previous experience with a larger model from Dyno, I got this one for home.
The only negative thing is that this version has a QWERTZ keyboard (small downside).
It prints Greek characters perfectly from the PC (it's tiring from the label maker, as it's in symbols).
Edit:
I spoke with Dymo support, they sent me this version for this specific printer as they told me, since I had some minor issues with another one:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/download.dymo.com/dymo/Software/Win/DCDSetup1.3.2.18.exe
With frequent use of the Dymo 280 printer (for hobby and not professional use), the machine is very good and I did not encounter any problems in its use. It has Greek characters, but they are in a specific menu that you have to enter every time to find each letter, which is not convenient at all. It could have been like our mobile phones. But okay, our work is done this way.
One solution I have found is to download the program to your computer, write from there easily and quickly with Greek characters, and then print from there to the machine. The only problem I encountered was finding the program for Windows 7. There are many versions on the internet and on the Dymo website, but not all of them work on this specific machine. I had to download different versions until I found one that works. For Windows 10, I found it more easily. The 280 model has a connection port with the computer, unlike the 160 model. As for the tapes, that is the big issue. The original ones from Greece can be found for about 17 euros. The compatible ones are around 10-13 euros. Of course, each tape is 7 meters long. As for how well they stick, it depends on the material you stick them on. For example, I used original ones on desktop computers and they came off in one day. I put Scotch tape on top. I didn't have any issues with other objects. You can also find compatible 7-meter tapes from abroad, which is more cost-effective for someone to buy from there. I found some on AliExpress. I bought various colors with a width of 12mm and paid 25 euros for 9 tapes. As for whether they stick well, the ones I bought stick exactly the same, and maybe even better than the original ones. However, I cannot know if the quality will be the same in the next purchase. Likewise, I cannot know if the compatible tapes will cause any problems with the machine's head.
Very good. One issue with the Greek language that it does not support and the subtitles in the original movies are a bit... sticky like post it glue. But otherwise, in general, it is good.
Very good product. I would give it 5 stars if it had the option for Greek and didn't require searching for special characters.
It is a very good tool, which has Greek font, uppercase and lowercase in the symbols menu.
+ I have had it for a week and it is very good.
Very easy to use and print.
- It has Greek letters in the menu internally with a "special characters" button.

After using about 30-35 original tapes, the print head started printing with weak colors.
Although I have cleaned it several times, it is not fixed.
