The MB153SP-B is an internal SATA RAID Backplane 3 in 2 enclosure for 3.5" SATA drives. It maintains the same high-quality build disk framework. The backplane unit allows the installation of up to three 3.5" SATA III drives instead of two 5.25" slots.

The power socket has been redesigned for better accessibility, using a 15-pin SATA socket.
