I have previously purchased the Table Mate II and it has nothing to do with the new one. The old one has "Table Mate II" written on the back, while the new one doesn't have it anywhere, so the product has been modified. It is of much poorer construction and has no stability and sturdiness like the old one. It is clearly of inferior quality, as both the plastic and metal parts are less sturdy and do not lock securely. In other words, if you hold the table to lift it carefully, the support may come off from underneath, and when you go to put it down and don't notice, everything on top may fall as well.
The company has clearly compromised its quality but has not informed the public (they could have named it Table Mate 0.5) so that we know what to expect and what we are buying.
Overall, it does its job, but it is like the cheapest similar tables I found in other stores, which I avoided because they were not as sturdy. I was looking to find the Table Mate II and was willing to pay more for it to be good in terms of quality, but ultimately it is no longer.

During assembly, a piece of the support teeth broke. It lacks stability. It requires special attention when moving because it falls apart. However, if you carefully place the laptop, it does the job. You fear it will fall apart as soon as you move it!!! I do not recommend it.

It is barely the right size for a laptop, not convenient at all for work. Forgetting a heavy object on top of it for one night, its plastic warped. Anything but sturdy construction. It is not particularly stable and the surface bends with a little more weight. When you change the slope, the side supports come off and the surface falls.

This here is quite convenient, not terribly stable (the plastic bends easily under pressure, but it returns to its position) and if you fall on it as you get up, the plastic legs might collapse!
Personally, I am very satisfied though (because I "learned" it in this) and I have had it for about 3 years. I use it mainly for laptops and meals. This particular one (51.5*39) is a fake, it doesn't have its name written anywhere on the table like the previous one I had, it doesn't have the folding cup holder, and there is no horizontal position no matter how you adjust it, it always has a wobble which is annoying. I can't use it as a dining table. 15€ wasted with shipping.
