  • Very good job. I added 250ml of this + 3.8 liters of 15w40 in my 305,000km 1.3 Baleno and it stopped emitting blue smoke at startup.

    I use it together with Mannol 0W-40 ESTER oil in a 1.6 dCi diesel engine (6-year-old Megane) that I bought used from Germany, and while the engine at 214,000 km consumes around 400ml at 10-11,000 km that I left to see how it goes. I don't know why this happens, the compression and performance of the engine are very good, without smoke, etc. Some told me "leave it, the 1.6 dCi engines generally burn oil with high mileage. Don't bother."

    BUT I'M NOT SATISFIED and I'm investigating! Hahaha. It may need a repair on the turbo. HOWEVER: The engine has only consumed around 120-150ml in approximately 3,200 km, which means that the product has not done anything significant. But on the other hand, I have never felt the engine so smooth and quiet. I like its operation so much that I DON'T CARE about this small consumption. In the mornings, no matter how cold it is, the engine starts without any noise, "knocking" or strange adjustments, as it used to do before whether I used ELF 5W-30 Evolution, Liqui Moly TOP TEC 4400, or ENEOS RN720. Maybe the turbo is to blame or the inherent tendency of this engine to burn oil.

    I AM very satisfied with the product's performance, and I give it 4 stars just because I want to check: A) HOW MUCH IT WILL CONSUME IN THE END at 10,000 km B) How the engine will behave with the same oil without Bardahl B2, to see if the smooth operation is due to this or to the "ESTER" of Mannol.

    IN ANY CASE, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT (for now) and I will come back as soon as I do my experiments!

    P.S: Coming back after almost 6,000 km, and I see that UNFORTUNATELY THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL IN MY CASE, AND NOW I CALCULATE THAT THE ENGINE IS BURNING AROUND 800ml / 10,000 km WITH MODERATE PRESSURE USAGE. THE OPERATION REMAINS SMOOTH, BUT SINCE I CONTINUE TO TOP UP WITH THE SAME AND EVEN SLIGHTLY WORSE RATES, IT PROBABLY DOESN'T DO MUCH, AND I WILL CONTINUE WITH SOMETHING ELSE

    I had relatively low oil consumption, about 800ml per 5,000km. The dosage was 100ml in 4.5 liters of oil.
    Indeed, it completely stopped the consumption!
    Attention, the engine must be well warmed up before pouring the additive and immediately after, it must be driven for about 15-20 minutes to perform correctly.
