Amazing remake. Perhaps the answer to all those who complain about remakes. As a game, there isn't much to say. Beautiful, atmospheric, aesthetically pleasing, and it makes you nostalgic for a time when gaming was different. We can't deny that it was a masterpiece, and the incredible thing is that it still remains so today because of the Remake.

A game of the most sophisticated. With poetic romanticism and a lot of melancholy in its atmosphere and story, just like its predecessor "Ico". It is not intended for people who are used to playing GTA and cod, which is why many people do not like it.

It is not an easy game, it does not come easy, it requires effort and thought to enter its world and understand it. The graphics of the remake are exceptional. As for the controls, not much has changed from the first version of PlayStation 2.

One reason worth trying it is the exceptional music that you rarely encounter in a video game. It is one of those games that once you enter its world, it will be hard to leave and you will want to play the rest of the series, Ico and The Last Guardian

Epic game. From player handling realism to lore, soundtrack (perhaps the best soundtrack ever in a game without exaggeration), to gameplay with all the puzzles you need to solve and the techniques you need. Timeless, worth 100% playing it.

This game has very good graphics, sound, and gameplay. It does not have an open world, but it has a story of about 13 hours where you have to fight 16 colossi. The story mode has a pretty good scenario and it has been remade because it was a game for the PS2. I recommend it and it's worth the money

Very good job with the graphics for a game initially released on the ps2, beautiful landscapes. It is impressive when you encounter a colossus and want to defeat it. But the whole experience is ruined by its terrible gameplay, personally I couldn't stand it.

An invaluable gem that can easily be considered a work of art. It is a unique experience that every person who holds the controller in their hands must experience.
Also invaluable gems are the other two from Ueda (ICO, The Last Guardian) but especially Shadow of the Colossus is a unique experience that stands out a little more than the previous ones.
    Must play!

It requires you to dedicate many hours!! It simply throws you somewhere without telling you what and how!! It requires a lot of searching!! If you don't mind wandering around wherever until you encounter a random boss, you might enjoy it and call it epic too!!

It is something different, this and The Last Guardian. You are alone with your horse in a large map and travel, seeing beautiful deserted landscapes. Intense feelings of loneliness surround you through abandoned ancient areas. It is a gem and I am glad it fell into my hands and I have it in my collection.

One of the top games of all time, even from the PlayStation 2 era, for those who want to play it for the first time. Guys, you should have already bought it since yesterday, now for the problems that some mention. Firstly, when climbing, if you have the R2 button pressed, otherwise it will let go and you will fall <so some simply didn't understand the controls and blamed it for being difficult>. And mainly, that the HORSE, Agro, is your friend and doesn't turn because he understands what you're doing and reacts accordingly <in other words, he doesn't turn because he simply doesn't want to> and you will understand this after playing it for some time, of course. The camera issues in a game that marked the video game industry with an Open World that has not been surpassed in scale, <in 2021> even with a visual and auditory spectacle that simply captivates you. But above all, it made video games art, come on, no more camera problems now.

A game that is a work of art. It puts you in many thoughts about how far you would go to achieve something and what meaning our actions have in the end. Another masterpiece from Ueda. Some issues in the handling do not take away anything from this masterpiece.

I will speak in riddles, because some people continue to not understand that the disadvantages of this game-art are also its beauty at the same time.
    1) Not everything is for everyone.
    2) Art-experience requires knowledge and of course perception.
That's why there are games that may be more interesting, such as skinning the deer and aimlessly riding your horse for hours, wearing leggings and wandering from building to building,
slaughtering the same opponents with axes hundreds of times with different levels... etc, etc

It is the first time I give up a game at the end, due to poor handling (Final Boss). The camera is terrible, while the handling of the horse... The sound is very good (with headphones), the battles are very good but some definitely require You Tube. I bought it for 7 Euros and honestly regretted it. I would not recommend someone to buy it. Only free from Ps plus. (For the experience alone).

An incredible job has been done in the audiovisual sector by bluepoint.
The game is a must for both younger and older players who had already played it in its time.
The only flaw is the difficult handling, which is the only aspect that reveals the age of the game. In my opinion, it is a game-changer.

The game is excellent. Personally, I made it platinum, meaning I finished it at least 6 times. It's original and all the colossi are so different, I really love it. The story is exceptional and the music is incredible. Yes, the controls have some issues, I won't deny it, but you can't focus on them while playing this epic game. I consider it a sin not to have played it and still call yourself a gamer. Now, for those who don't like it, they are probably either beginners in gaming and find it difficult, or they don't know how to appreciate and evaluate a game. I had a blast with this game and I highly recommend it... give yourself time to get used to the controls. I defeated the last colossus in half an hour for the first time, and the following times it took me a maximum of 8 and a half minutes... get it!

I didn't play it during its time, I didn't play it on the PS3, I decided, after reading so much about it, to play it on the PS4.
    It didn't win me over.
I find its controls very bad and the camera completely problematic, and the map is very problematic as well.
The colossi, until the 9th one that I reached, seemed somewhat indifferent to me. The puzzle aspect is nice for someone who enjoys that genre.

I don't want to generalize, I understand that it's a title that you either love or hate. I tried to finish it to add it to my resume, but then I decided that life is too short to dedicate 8 hours to Shadow of the Colossus, another playthrough of Uncharted 2 has more to offer me!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Unacceptable handling and game camera, zero plot and repetitive content. I got bored within the first half hour. There are hundreds of games worth your time and money in 2020, just don't waste your time and money on something so outdated.

First of all, I reconsider anything I said about the camera because in the end, the whole experience you get, the problem of the camera seems silly...
Every time I played it, I wondered what it is that makes me not want to take it off, why I like it so much and how it has addicted me like this... I concluded that the charm and the reason I played it was the mystery it had, it gave you the idea that no matter how many times you finish it, you will always find something new... The paradox is that so many years have passed and there are still conspiracy theories about places that exist and have not been discovered, 15 YEARS LATER! If this doesn't declare that a game is epic and leaves a mark, then what does it declare?

The transfer from PS2 has been done excellently, although nothing more has been added in terms of content compared to the first version. The graphics are of a high level, but the game wins you over mainly with its story and musical score. I would give it 5 stars if it had better controls and camera, especially when you have to ride the horse!!! The handling with the joystick is unacceptable!!! Other than that, it's exceptional!!! The game is very good in terms of story. Basically, the story is the last 40 minutes.

    Positives:
    -Good story
-Nice music (Not my style, but it fits well with the game)

    Negatives:
-I think the phrase about riding the horse was made up by the person who rode Agro. I would prefer to go somewhere on foot rather than change direction with the horse.

Things that could have been changed from the original game:
-In my opinion, they could have added a mini map in a corner. The reason is that the hills in front of me blocked my view and I couldn't see where I needed to go.
-It's not necessary for the camera to turn every time I call Agro. If I want to see if he's coming, I'll turn around myself.

First of all, I want to emphasize that for so many years we have been overwhelmed with shooters, RPGs, and third-person action/adventure games, but a similar game has not been released, so there is even more reason to appreciate this masterpiece.
The game is a remake, meaning it was made from scratch with next-generation graphics but with the same story. The feeling of finding a way to climb on top of the colossus and bring it down is indescribable, which only a few games have given me to this day. I believe that everyone who plays gaming should try this game, for me, it is among the top 3 games on the PS4 along with Red Dead 2 and God of War.
As for the negatives, sometimes the controls can be difficult, and I won't hide that I reached a point of swearing, but even that couldn't erase my overall experience with Shadow of the Colossus.
I recommend it to everyone, especially at such a price.

There is no better adventure game, the graphics are incredible, the music is perfect, the gameplay is interesting and original... The story is very interesting and moving... You feel an incredible awe while playing the game, especially when you encounter a colossus and the amazing music kicks in, which fits perfectly with the game... Personally, it is my favorite game... And I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

A relatively mediocre game. It has nice graphics and a very good representation of the colossi, with battles that are quite good and challenging. If you don't have YouTube open next to your phone, it's impossible to get things done. The horse has some "issues" where it does its own thing when you try to turn while standing still...the player takes forever to get up and recover after falling from a height or getting hit, and you just sit there watching them struggle! The ending was expected to be better and longer. It finished within 3 days and I could have finished it even earlier. So it's not worth buying at such a price. Renting is better. Overall, it's a decent game, okay...with quite a few issues. It's based on the ps2, though, so we shouldn't expect too much from it, especially when epic games are being released in 2019!

The game is very good and has excellent graphics for PS4 Pro. The landscapes are fantastic. The only thing I wanted more was character development. It has exceptional gameplay and a tremendous story. It is a very well done remake from the PS2. The graphics were completely redone from scratch. I wish all remakes were like this
