It broke within 4 months of simple use, 1-2 times a day for tea. It is definitely not worth it, as for 5-10€ more there are much more reliable devices available with a warranty.

The base just caught salts from the first use and when it boils, even lower than 1.7 liters, the steam spreads everywhere in the crevices and it needs to be wiped after each use so that the steam does not remain in the plastic crevices. It does not have satisfactory insulation and requires attention not to be excessively filled, and when the water boils, drops spill out and end up in the base.
