  Excellent product but very expensive for a charger. Of course, it provides a lot of information about the batteries for anyone interested. It also presents the following: as soon as the battery is fully charged and shows the full indication on the screen, if you do not remove it immediately to use it, it starts to discharge. This means that it does not keep the battery charged until you remove it, so if you put a battery in at 8 in the evening and see it in the morning, it will show full on the screen but if you remove it and put it back, it will start to charge it. For anyone who is lazy to be on top, I would recommend a charger with trickle.

  Expensive but professional charger. It charges and measures each battery separately (AA and/or AAA) with separate indications of mAh/WhV and charging time for each battery. The Refresh function fully discharges and charges the battery. It also has an indication of charging cycles and warns when the battery is approaching its end of life. Highly recommended.

  Excellent charger. I had a problem with a Varta charger that didn't charge at all. I would take out the batteries and they would be completely discharged. With this one, I truly saw the capabilities of the batteries. I recommend it 100%.

  Positive:
  - Different sized and capacity batteries can be inserted simultaneously.
  - The Refresh function eliminates the memory effect of Ni-Mh batteries: it performs a full charge, full discharge, and full charge again. I do not have an opinion on the effectiveness of this function. However, during the discharge, it measures the mAh of the battery separately for each battery, so we know its condition (e.g. for a 2000 mAh battery, if it shows 500 mAh, then that battery is probably due for retirement). It also measures the mWh of the battery, which in my opinion is a more accurate comparison measure than mAh. Since the measurement is done during discharge, I think it is more accurate than the measurement done by some other chargers during charging. I have had a situation with another charger I have, where it charged a very old and worn-out 2000 mAh battery for many hours (instead of 4-5) and showed 3,500 mAh at the end. When I put it in the Panasonic charger, it immediately showed that it should be retired.
  Note: The Refresh function should not be performed frequently as it reduces the battery life by 1-2 charging cycles.
  - Charging speed (3-4 hours for 4 AA 2,000 - 2,500 mAh)

  Neutral:
  - Charging quality

  Negative:
  - Batteries are difficult to remove with fingers.
  - For several batteries (not Panasonic) that were discharged, it indicated that they needed to be replaced. However, after charging them in another charger and putting them back in the Panasonic charger, it showed that they were fine. By performing the refresh function, it showed that many of them were in very good condition based on the measured mAh. Therefore, there should be a second charger to determine if a battery is fine or should be retired.

  Conclusion:
  Despite the negatives I mentioned, I am satisfied with the product.

  To put the batteries at 10 pm and at 8 am by placing them in the device (boiler thermostat) and to show them empty is an issue. With the device not stopping with the charging, blocking the discharge, it wants you to be constantly on top. When you have to charge 4 or 8 batteries, you don't mind the pieces that need to be done, but when you have to manage 40, there is an issue.
