For now, excellent. I have had the machine for 7 months, with zero previous experience.
I started with a setting of 1, then 2.5, and finally 3.5 out of 5, based on the measurements that the adjustable handle has.
It takes effort to manage to cut with it. It is heavy and pleasant in the hand, even in a close shave it performs without causing anxiety. The ideal setting for me, who shaves twice a week and has very sensitive skin, is at 2.5. This way, it is not too aggressive, but it also doesn't require 4 passes to clean the area.
Remember to shave small areas and rotate the machine to use both sides and rinse frequently.
