Enhance the sense of realism with the a7R III, the ideal partner for superior speed, high-resolution imaging, professional functionality, and reliable performance even in adverse conditions.
The image processing system has evolved to deliver high resolution and low noise over a wider ISO range. The camera captures the atmosphere of the environment in every scene, as well as the texture of details.
The high-resolution and twice as bright electronic viewfinder reproduces highly detailed images. The "Hi" quality mode provides exceptionally detailed views of natural realism on a bright screen.
Capture a fleeting moment with continuous shooting at up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking. The massive 42.4 MP image data maintains high image quality, giving you an advantage when creatively cropping.
This camera offers silent shooting at up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking. Silence is crucial in wildlife photography, where even the slightest noise can cost you the perfect shot.
The autofocus performance is improved through the optimal application of the autofocus used in the α9. Thus, once the α7R III captures a wild animal moving unpredictably, it won't let it escape easily.
Advanced autofocus algorithms contribute to high-precision autofocus, even in low light down to EV-3, for more reliable autofocus in dark scenes.
In the α7R III, eye autofocus evolves, with twice as fast, effective eye detection and tracking, even when shooting a portrait with a moving subject.
The new HLG picture profile supports instant HDR workflow. Movies shot in HLG picture mode will appear realistic, with limited shadow underexposure or highlight overexposure, without color grading.
The new feature for multiple pixel shift shots reproduces still images that contain realistic details, textures, colors, and overall atmosphere.

The camera is a beast! Awesome sensor, awesome image quality, etc. The usual things that everyone says. Now, for the negatives... The menu is terrible, as unfortunately is the case with many Sony products. Thankfully, it has many custom buttons to put whatever you want there, that's the small downside.
What happens with the painting of the camera, guys (Sony)??? You touch it and the color comes off, you place it on a pillow and the color comes off. No matter how much you take care of it, the camera is doomed to have external damages. Enough already with this thing on bodies that are supposed to be "premium" in this price range.
However, it is so good as a camera that despite all that, I can only give it a 5/5. I would really like to give it a 4, but it is truly a beast when it comes to photography.
From Nikon D750, I switched to this masterpiece. In terms of weight, there aren't such big differences, maybe I saved 300 grams. But in terms of photo quality, it is far better. With Nikon, I always had expensive lenses, and now I started with a cheap 50mm full frame lens from Sony, and the quality is on a completely different level. It is worth every euro, and the battery also lasts a lot, even though I expected it to run out quickly. As for the menu, I have to say that it takes some getting used to, but it is completely different and everything seems a bit strange. Of course, you can customize all the buttons as you like, and that's where the matter ends, something that I am still learning how to do...
A machine that truly helps the professional. It is a real gem in the field of photography. I have been its owner for 3 years now and its performance is truly amazing. It has many useful functions, with the main one being its focus and the absence of back focus. Compared to any professional DSLR, the differences are chaotic.
It is a true evolution in the mirrorless system, where Sony leads. As a professional photographer, I have tried all the brands and DSLR models, but for the first time, I have seen so many differences in my upgrade. If you are considering or have concerns about upgrading, like I did, then you have nothing to fear. It is the most modern system in terms of both body and lenses.
I am also the owner of the A7 III, which is aimed at videographers. However, its build quality, colors, and performance are significantly inferior to the Riii. It is a guaranteed investment.
I have tried all the good brands (Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon). One day I decided to get the Sony because the above-mentioned companies couldn't offer me what I wanted for the money I had available. It is so good that you simply forget what it means to constantly change cameras. It does EVERYTHING. It has resolution, speed, low-light performance, huge dynamic range, reliability, dual cards, excellent battery life, and very good 4K 30p without crop! Sony's menu is extremely complex and it takes a lot of time to learn where everything is. The good thing is that you can create your own menu to quickly find the functions you want without getting lost in the abyss of menus.
The only negatives I find are the outdated screen resolution and the viewfinder, which for some reason I believe was better in the Fujifilm XT1
From the best FF mirrorless cameras for semi-professional/professional use, with incredible capabilities, customization, and build quality. Now that the R4 has been released, perhaps it will receive a good price reduction?
