Historically, the term "Real Analysis" refers to the study of functions of one or more real variables. Over time, this subject began to expand and include various abstract topics that today form the foundation of modern Analysis. This book covers a significant portion of these topics, which are taught in undergraduate programs of Mathematics Departments. The reader needs to have knowledge of elementary linear algebra as well as calculus of one variable.
