One of the best choices for a diving watch, the Orient AA02 is here to meet all your needs. It stands out for the fantastic lume on its hands, as well as for its brightness and durability.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Amazing dive watch.
It has been tested in swimming (sea and pool) and dives of 2-3 meters.
In-house automatic mechanism by Orient with hacking and manual winding.
Satisfactory luminescence.
Its major drawback, however, is the hollow end links...
I bought it in 2004 for the price of 350.00 euros. Truly, for the money you can buy it now, it is the best you can get.
I bought it a week ago from abroad. It cost 128 euros. It may seem like a much better price, but with customs expenses it can reach 200, so it's better to buy it from the EU.
Now, about the watch.
The best feature of the watch is its automatic mechanism. It has a classic screw-down crown. The handling is easy. The mechanism is very accurate for an automatic at this price. It is a level above most Seiko watches at this price range and even higher. When you pull the crown to adjust the time, the minute hand stops for precise adjustment, a feature that is not usually found in automatic watches at this price.
The bezel is very sturdy and quite easy to rotate. The crown had the Orient logo engraved on it, another characteristic for a higher price level.
The lume is the best in its category. It lasted for 5 hours.
The accuracy from measurement on the chronograph ranges from 2 to 6 sec/day.
5/5 from me.
I had it and I gave it as a gift to my brother. For its price, it simply does NOT exist. Even though it is a subsidiary of Seiko, for the money it has, there is no Seiko watch with the same quality, finishing, mechanism. It may be the one and only watch for someone with little money and great reliability.
Very good for its price, with an in-house mechanism, hand winding and hacking. Also, for an automatic at this price, it is very expensive.

Very good accuracy for a mechanical automatic, + 1-2 seconds/day.

The watch is very beautiful. The bracelet lacks in quality.
