  It does not have local streaming. Its IP does not have administrative access. You cannot view videos from the LAN, only from the cloud. You need to be connected to the internet to view the camera on your local network. It does not work at all without internet. In the cloud, recordings are kept for one day with a limit of 50 recordings. If you want to download the recordings, you can only do it from your mobile device. If you want to have recordings for one month, you have to pay 99 euros per year for the dlink cloud. With that money, I could have storage space of several terabytes with another provider. It is unacceptable that the hardware can do local streaming, but they have designed the firmware in a way that forces you to pay for the cloud, which you cannot download locally. Also, if you have Linux, you cannot do live streaming. Additionally, you cannot have continuous recording. It only records a few seconds if it detects motion and then stops.

  Very good image quality, reliability, and potentially good features. The cloud recording and the App are very good. Not satisfied at all with the sound detector. Initially, there is no option to adjust the sound sensitivity through the application. Then, even at full sensitivity, I have placed it at the entrance of the door, next to the intercom, and I would expect it to notify me when someone rings the doorbell or the intercom at least... If it did that, I would be completely satisfied with what it offers...

  It is not my first camera, so I knew what I was looking for. This camera is the only one under €50 that I found, which has free cloud storage (it deletes after 24 hours) to record videos when it detects motion. That is its advantage. I have had it for two days. Easy installation. The app quickly connects to the camera when you want to view your space. In the app, I give it full permissions (to run in the background, battery saving, etc.) so that it always sends me notifications. It is, therefore, the most reliable "security" camera, as long as the owner has some skills, for example, when they receive a notification on their phone, they should not delay and take notice within 24 hours before the video is deleted from the cloud. It does not take an SD card, so it does not record locally, for continuous recording, it is not suitable. It is ideal for the purpose I mentioned. If you want to monitor children, there are cheaper cameras with much better features plus a speaker, while if you are further away from your phone and want a security camera, you either pay for longer cloud storage or get a camera that sends email snapshots of the thief. All of this is because SD cameras are useless on their own if the thief takes them as well when leaving. Update: 4 stars because when it gets dark or dawn and changes the brightness mode, it sends motion notifications. Update 2021: 1 star because the free cloud storage will no longer exist from next year. The camera had this advantage and lost it. Without a subscription, it is now useless
