    On i7 4790, it has lower performance than the stock cooler. The only advantage I find is the compact dimensions and that it is quieter.

    I bought it mainly because of its height and width (I have a mini ITX 1155 with a very strange layout where the PCIe slot is next to the socket and I couldn't find a cooler that wouldn't obstruct the PCIe) to replace the stock cooler of an i7-3770 that sounded like an airplane when under load. Good temperatures, especially under load, but most importantly, very low acceptable noise under load (completely silent at idle and low load). Easy installation, good quality at a good price. A very honest solution
