The Siemens vent hood has a front panel that can be pulled out and can accommodate a wooden panel similar to the kitchen wood.
The maximum suction power is 625 m³/h, which can adequately cover spaces up to 21 square meters (with a height of 2.85 meters).
The air drawn by the vent hood is either expelled through a duct or recirculated within the hood. For air extraction operation, a duct needs to be installed to vent the air outside the kitchen.
It accepts metal filters, which can be removed and washed in the dishwasher or by hand, and do not require frequent replacement.
Additionally, it accepts carbon filters, which are necessary for air recirculation operation. Carbon filters are not washable and it is recommended to replace them every 4-6 months.
LED bulbs, while saving energy, simultaneously provide perfect visibility and pleasantly illuminate your entire kitchen.

On the third level, it pulls very well but makes a lot of noise. On the other levels, the noise is much lower but the steam extraction is not as strong. You can't have it all.
It has plastic parts, where it opens and closes, if you have wooden parts, this means additional weight and it becomes difficult to open and close. Surely in 2-3 years they will dry out and break. So soon we will be in the process of finding another one. They don't show it in the photos, they show it to you without it.
Guys, I bought this extractor fan in early 2021.
About a week ago (we are in early 2024 at the time of evaluation), the buttons stopped working.
I called a Siemens technician (50 euros for the visit) and he told me that the circuit board needs to be replaced (100 euros + 50 for the repair, which of course is not covered by the warranty because the warranty was for 2 years).
We use it purely for domestic purposes. Everyday cooking.
It was value for money when I bought it based on the features it offers, but now that I realized I have to buy a new one every 3 years, I'm not so sure anymore...

Very noisy. Only on level 3 it pulls somewhat and this in the inner eyes of the kitchen and the cherry on top, as soon as the warranty expired, it hit a plate with a cost of 110€ without labor
The worst device I have ever bought!!! I bought it last summer! As long as the weather was good, it worked fine! As soon as winter came and the humidity started... water started dripping from the filters, which ended up in the pot with the food being cooked! I called and called Siemens service (their manner and behavior were unacceptable) just to be told in the end... to leave the window open during winter, because that's how this extractor fan works! I would like to emphasize that I bought it for 300€ (not a negligible amount... and that my previous extractor fan lasted for 24 whole years and worked fine!
The only drawback is that it makes a lot of noise on the 3rd level. Other than that, it's fine for its price.
Quality and sturdy construction for a 60-inch folding. It is moderately noisy (very noisy on the 3rd level) but it pulls well. Beautiful and powerful LED light. It is a good choice for its price.
