I got it for the Nintendo Switch, it works perfectly, I recommend it, I don't think you need the extra money to buy an SD card, especially for the Switch
"Following" other users' reviews, I purchased this specific card for use in a Samsung Galaxy S9 mobile phone.
The read and write speeds are quite close to the manufacturer's specifications.
Personally, I observed read speeds around 75Mb/s and write speeds close to 65Mb/s.
I must clarify that the usage was done through the included adaptor on an HP laptop's SD port, but with "countless" files, small and large, in folders and subfolders, etc., which in itself significantly reduces the speeds.
It is definitely worth its money.
I was looking for an affordable, high-quality, and relatively fast 128gb memory card for my mobile phone. There were definitely cheaper options available, but after searching, I ended up here. I think it's worth the money and it's relatively fast, as I mentioned before.
The difference with a 64GB SANDISK that I had, which was 4 years old, was chaotic. Very fast memory card for mobile phones, it doesn't freeze at all (so far) and I consider it very value for money and very reliable. I wouldn't go for a more expensive one if I was looking for a solution for mobile only. It's just what I need.
I have this sd here for a year now and I absolutely have no issue for the 24 euros I spent, I have absolutely no complaint, I would buy it again with my eyes closed.
I have it here for a week so I don't have an opinion on its durability, but I am definitely satisfied that I have the ability to choose music on the mp3 player without having to make additions or deletions all the time. It has 238 GB of storage space and the file transfer from my old PC to the card was done at a speed of about 15mb/s
In all of it, it's good, very good. It's too early to say about its durability. I've only had it for a month. But it's worth it. I found my peace. Fast reading and writing.
Quite a good product for its price. The only issue it had was the annoying write protection (of the adapter) that didn't allow file transfer-editing from and to the card.
I got it for use in a 4K car camera.
This camera records about 1GB of video every 3 minutes, and when the card is full, it simply continues and records over the oldest video.
Normally, for this type of continuous use, it is recommended to use other types of cards that are supposed to withstand and last longer in adverse conditions (depending on the manufacturer, they have different names, some call them "extreme pro" and others "high endurance," etc.).
So far, however, this card has been working perfectly for the past 6 months, despite having recorded countless cycles.
Of course, it probably won't last long, especially when the temperatures rise and it stays inside the car at 50 degrees, so someone who chooses such a "regular" card for this type of use should expect that the card won't last long, and it won't be the card's fault but rather the incorrect use!
I would definitely prefer it for use in a mobile phone or camera since it seems to be a very fast and durable card that will last a long time with "regular" use!
I use it on Samsung Galaxy 32GB.
The reason I bought a 128GB card is because I have a lot of photos and videos on my phone and I don't want to transfer them to another device, I want to have them on my phone.
Currently, its capacity is exactly 100GB, but at some point it was completely full!
Of course, many times it freezes or slows down when viewing files, but this could also be due to my phone's long-term use...
As for performance, that's where it shines! It is quite fast in file transfer.
On the Huawei Mate 20 lite that I use, quite often it loses the SIM card. It doesn't read it and I have to restart it. I don't know if it's the card's fault or the phone's, but with my previous card I never had any problems.
I unfortunately had my disappointment, as I lost a lot of photos. It played me. I formatted it on my phone, nothing. On a computer, it didn't even recognize it. I sent it for replacement and I hope they send me another one. But the damage has been done.
40gb recording in just 1 hour, that's all I have to say and from the hard HDD that I have on my PC. Bravo Samsung, you're finally doing something! I recommend it without hesitation, guys... great value for money!
Amazing card in both speed and durability, I use this specific one in my switch and I haven't had any problems so far, by far the most reliable at this price
I confess to say that Samsung is generally one of my favorite companies.. always first in my preferences!
It disappointed me with this card of course.. but I believe that it is due to both times to a possible "defective" batch since the first one broke in my 6th month and the second one in the 2nd month!
The 1/5 is firstly because I lost photos and videos and secondly because the second one broke in the 2nd week
I am writing after about a year of use. Awesome card! I have it in my DSLR so I don't worry about it getting filled with photos or not fitting large videos during my trips. Very fast reading and writing! The best value for money and with the Samsung signature! Buy without fear.
I bought it for the go pro hero 7, in which I currently shoot videos up to 1080p. Very reliable, I haven't had any problems or complaints. I don't know if it's very fast in recording because the go pro is very slow in everything, but in the videos I watched at home, I didn't notice any issues!
I got it a month ago... I had read that it is very fast and so on, so I decided to get it. I have it on an LG V20. The mobile phone was very slow when taking photos and saving them to the card, and it often froze... it has nothing to do with the internal memory of the phone... I don't know if something went wrong, I just expected speed. So I save everything to the storage of the phone and I only use the card for songs and some photos. The price is good and I bought it for reliability... It is very important to have everything on the card so that if the phone ever doesn't turn on, you don't have a big problem.
Unfortunately, in my trimester, my computer crashed and I lost all the photos that I had stored there. I can't understand the reason why. Thankfully, with a recovery program - specifically Recuva - I managed to recover most of the files, but the hard drive is now useless.
I put the little card as an upgrade again samsung micro 32GB class 10 in mobile P9 because I wanted to not have to delete old photos and videos after one or two years when the 32GB is full. So I chose this one on offer for 23€ (12/2018) from a well-known Greek e-shop.
I did some quick tests on a modern hp laptop (2018, AMD CPU with cpu-benchmark about 4000, conventional 1TB HDD, win 10) with built-in card reader. In copying a large ISO (3.5GB) from the disk to the card, it reached a write speed of 65+ mb/sec with small fluctuations (continuous recording observed in the middle of the file until the end). These were in eFAT format that comes preformatted and without any changes from me. The read was slightly better but I don't remember exactly. In better machines (e.g. with SSD and good USB3 readers) it will achieve better performance, I estimate and read in other reviews.
After recording the large file (3.5GB), I did not notice any particular heat (the card was somewhat warm), which is also good.
In the mobile where I put it, it reacts much faster than the old one (32GB class 10, samsung), showing photos (preview) more immediately. Likewise, it is also faster in its connection to the computer, where files are copied much faster during transfer and their listing is also faster.
In summary, the card is very fast and I hope it turns out to be "good" (durable). Of course, good or not, we always regularly back up on the computer's disk and on an external disk, otherwise sooner or later we will lose valuable data.
P.S. CAUTION, there is also a U-1 class model in 128GB, but there is also another u3 from the same company (externally it has similar colors) with much lower performance than this one (evo plus U-3).
