Description

The classic children's book by Mira Lobe in a unique 4-language edition: in Greek, in the original German, in Arabic, and Farsi.

When the book was first published, it won the state children's literature award in Austria, and since then it has been released in many countries around the world. The book has inspired theatrical performances, children's operas, animated series, and more, and has been a valuable resource for educators and all professionals working with children. Its total sales have exceeded 1,000,000 copies.

The book is the result of a publishing collaboration between TOPOS publications and the Institute for Behavioral Research and Therapy (IBRT).

A small colorful animal, taking a walk in a blooming meadow, suddenly faces the question of a frog, "And who are you again?", but doesn't know what to answer. Thus, it begins a journey seeking the answer and along the way asks various animals if they know who it is and if it is the same as them. Dogs, horses, fish, hippos, birds deny that they are the same as the little animal, some kindly and friendly, others more abrupt and arrogant. The little animal finds itself in a real identity crisis, but in the end exclaims: "Surely, I exist, since I - AM - ME". The little animal is happy again and enjoys the environment and the company of the other animals, now overflowing with self-confidence.

The concerns arising from this touching story of the fairy tale hero give children the opportunity to realize their own uniqueness.
