Positive:
--As a person with a small head, I have to say that they double the width of my head. They are big but extremely comfortable. It's been a while since I've come across such comfortable headphones regardless of their size, and they don't squeeze my head. Overall, they are quite comfortable.
--The sound is quite satisfactory. It lacks a bit of bass, but I mainly bought them for gaming. I tested them on Rainbow Six Siege as I believe it is a demanding game for good sound, and indeed the headphones were exceptional. I could hear every step, every nearby sound in the right place with the right volume. Now, for music, they are just fine. As I said, they lose a bit in quality, but if you keep in mind their cost, you can agree that they are excellent for music as well.
--Also, you need to have a very loud volume for someone next to you to hear what you're listening to. You can't hear or be heard outside. It surprised me that such a cheap headset has such good quality.
--The microphone is decent. I sound quite clear on calls. Of course, its length is standard, it doesn't move back and forth, but it's not a problem since it's in the right position to capture my voice.
--A little less significant than the previous points, but equally important... the quality of the cable is quite good. It's a thick and somewhat heavy cable, which means it won't easily break, presumably.
Negative:
--The biggest negative for me is that the control panel on the cable is huge and has almost nothing on it. The only thing it has is +/-, which doesn't control the computer's volume but the headphones' volume. For example, if you have the computer volume at 32 and press the + button on the control panel of the headphones, yes, you will hear louder, but the computer's volume will remain at 32. Such a thing doesn't make sense... it's quite inconvenient not to have a mute button or a button to easily turn on or off the 7.1, but anyway...
--As I mentioned before, this control panel is quite big and therefore heavy. The headphones are connected to the cable on their left side. This results in the left headphone, due to my small head and the weight of the cable's control, hanging slightly lower than the right one. It's somewhat annoying for me, but I simply "hang" the control on my head to avoid this weight, and everything is fine. Besides, the cable is long enough for me to comfortably do this.
Now, the software is left, and I don't know where to put it... Generally, when I downloaded it, I immediately felt that it was definitely a decade behind. It doesn't offer anything substantial, so I simply deleted it. I have always used FxSound as my sound quality software, and I will stick with it for these headphones. To summarize the review... for their price, they are very good. Ultimately, sound quality matters, which, as I said, is great, but especially the lack of control buttons on the cable's control bothered me a bit, hence the 4 stars
