Dietary supplement that contributes decisively to the regulation of cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
The natural ingredients of Zeta Colest contribute to the effective and measurable improvement of the lipid profile, with a reduction in Total Cholesterol, LDL, and Triglycerides in an entirely natural way.
Benefits
Berberine, the alkaloid from the plant Berberis aristata, supports the improvement of the lipid profile in multiple ways. It helps increase LDL receptors in the liver. It contributes to the increased breakdown of cholesterol and its removal from the liver through bile, as well as the reduction of intestinal absorption of cholesterol. Additionally, it favors the reduced synthesis and increased breakdown of Triglycerides.
Monacolin K contained in Red Yeast Rice contributes to the reduced synthesis of cholesterol by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase.
Silymarin from the Milk Thistle plant has significant antioxidant properties that protect the liver, the main organ of cholesterol metabolism. It contributes to the regulation of cholesterol metabolism and its removal through bile, improving lipid levels.
Guggulsterones, plant sterols contained in the Guggul plant. They exhibit hypolipidemic actions through their effect on the FXR receptor, a protein that plays a significant role in regulating cholesterol metabolism and its breakdown through the synthesis of bile acids.

For those who claim that "from 10 it went to 2.9 mg Monacolin-K," let them know the following: according to a study by the European Food Safety Authority, "monacolins when used as dietary supplements raise significant safety concerns at a dosage level of 10 mg/day. The group also concluded that isolated cases of serious adverse effects have been reported for monacolins from RYR at intake levels of up to 3 mg/day. The group concluded that exposure to monacolin K from RYR could lead to serious adverse effects on the musculoskeletal system, including rhabdomyolysis, and on the liver." https://www.efsa.europa.eu/en/efsajournal/pub/5368?etrans=en. The 10mg exceeded the maximum permitted content according to Annex III Part B of Regulation (EC) No 1925/2006, which states that individual portions of red yeast rice extract for daily consumption should contain less than 3 mg of monacolins.
I bought it because it says it has 10 mg of monacolin, but when I received it, I saw that the composition has changed and the box says 2.9 mg, which is not mentioned here. I don't know if it will have any effect anymore
Unfortunately, the results of the product for me were minimal. A drop in LDL from 156 to 144 in 6 months of use and generally paying attention to diet.
My response to the medication was very good...from 230 to 187, however it should be noted that there was also a loss of many pounds...over 10...I continue
I have been taking it for 6 months. Before this, Total Cholesterol was 248, now 192. Bad Cholesterol was 162, now 125. I never had an issue with triglycerides, so I don't know if it would do anything there.
It helps my mom a lot. Since she started taking it, her cholesterol levels have dropped from the second month onwards, without changing her diet. She did not experience any side effects.
Good product, but don't expect miracles. You will need to combine it with aerobic exercise and careful diet in order to see results. As for the claim that the level of monacolin has decreased, do some research before criticizing: "In 2018, EFSA issued an opinion on monacolin K in red yeast rice, supporting the concern about the safety of monacolins from RYR when used as dietary supplements at a level of 10 mg/day." So, it was necessary to reduce it and they did the right thing.
With a treatment of about 11 months and not taking the pill every day (i.e. out of the 330 days, I took 315). Without any carefully planned diet and no exercise at all, I saw the following results:
Cholesterol from 246 to 194
Triglycerides from 189 to 182
HDL from 43 to 48
LDL from 165 to 110
So, it does the job.
With the Monacolins of the pill at: 2.9mg
If someone combines a good diet, occasional exercise, and the pill, I believe the results will be perfect.
They have reduced the levels of Monacolin from 10mg that it used to have to 3mg. As a result, it does not work properly.. it's a shame because it was very good.
It reduced my cholesterol from about 230 to 178. Triglycerides not so much. The good cholesterol also increased a little. I saw it in 3-4 months with blood tests before and after use.
Unfortunately, they didn't do anything for me. I started treatment with triglycerides at borderline levels of 170, the next measurement after 2 months was 220, and after another month and a half of treatment, it was 440. Unfortunately, I got a pill from the doctor. I don't know if they work for cholesterol because I don't have it
After 3 months of continuous intake (without any change in dietary habits), cholesterol levels improved significantly (Total cholesterol from 241 to 185, HDL (good) from 64 to 68, and LDL (bad) from 155 to 109).
I received them today. I haven't tried their effectiveness yet. The reason I am commenting is that if someone reads the content written on the box, in relation to an older photo that has been uploaded here in the comments, they will notice that the quantity of Monacolin (a substance found in red yeast rice and essentially the one that reduces lipids) has been reduced. The same thing happened with a similar supplement that I was taking, and they reduced it from 10 mg to 3 mg. So I don't know to what extent the previous reviews correspond to the new dosage.
My cardiologist recommended them to me because I asked for something natural for cholesterol due to heredity. Although I wasn't consistent in taking them every day, after three months I repeated my tests and there was a decrease in cholesterol without any side effects.
These pills are miraculous! In just 2 months and 5 days of taking the pills (1 every night), my cholesterol dropped from 280 to 192 and my triglycerides dropped from 152 to 103, without any changes in my diet. I never believed that a herbal product would have such a result. And the most important thing is that you can avoid statins from conventional medical drugs against cholesterol, which lead to liver burdens and damages. Take it, you will be saved!
After taking it for just 2 months without any change in my diet, with long hours of sedentary work and minimal movement, the result was beyond my expectations.
Before taking it: Total 278, HDL 70, LDL 190, Triglycerides 106, SGOT 23.7, SGPT 24.1, γ-GT 18.1
After taking it: Total 181, HDL 66, LDL 101, Triglycerides 91, SGOT 23.6, SGPT 19, γ-GT 15.
Certainly, the monacolin content of 10mg in comparison to another formulation of 5mg that I had taken before, also lowered the values but to a lesser extent.
I should note that my cardiologist insisted on starting chemical pills, but after reading about the possible side effects, I got scared and preferred to try herbal remedies first. He did not agree, telling me that herbal remedies also have side effects, they just don't list them, and that they contain statins like the chemical ones, so it would be like taking older cholesterol medications. However, in the 2 months that I have been taking them, I haven't noticed any side effects. I will show him the test results in case he changes his mind, and I will definitely continue for another 2 months to see if they will decrease further.
It reduced bad cholesterol in 3 months, but it also reduced good cholesterol (protection). Additionally, in the first 15 days of use, it caused musculoskeletal pain (same side effects as statins). Studies have shown that some supplements of this kind (red yeast rice) were found to contain regular statins, after testing, without naming the products. The good thing, however, is that this particular product does not contain Citrinin.
Unfortunately, the pills did not work for me at all. I am 25 years old and in recent years my cholesterol has been increasing due to heredity. My doctor recommended them to me and my cholesterol went from 250 to 299. It should be noted that my diet does not include fatty foods - fried foods, etc
I had high cholesterol, so I took the pills. After about 3 months (I took them throughout), I did tests and my cholesterol dropped back to normal levels with decreased LDL.
I stopped taking them for about 1 month and did tests again. Cholesterol went up again. Same lifestyle without significant changes.
I will take them again and do tests and make edits.
I combine them with an Omega-3 pill every morning. During the time I stopped taking Zeta, I also stopped taking Omega-3.
No side effects or anything to worry about.
It seems like they do a very good job, I will come back.
Within 45 days, it reduced cholesterol from 245 to 175, LDL from 147 to 90, triglycerides from 160 to 130, while HDL remained at the same levels. However, there was also an observed increase (+25%) in liver enzymes.
Very good, it reduced both my total and LDL cholesterol by 20%, bringing it to normal levels, without almost reducing my HDL at all, and I didn't have any side effects. I will continue to use it.
More effective than medication for cholesterol!! (With a 40mg pill every other day - cholesterol 200, zeta colest 1 capsule with food, every day - cholesterol 155) The same result applied to my wife as well.
