A good moisturizer, fragrance-free, very basic for those of us with allergies, absorbs quickly, hydrates properly, does not leave greasiness, and does not leave residue on the skin like other moisturizers do.
Hmm, after my experience with cicalfate - which is an incredible healing cream that eliminates pimples and soothes the skin - I had high expectations for this specific product. I imagined it would be a light, pure cream that would absorb immediately and be suitable for everyday use. The reality is completely different.
The first thing that bothered me was the scent, a powdery fruity fragrance that lingers for a long time. Come on, Avene, you claim to be a pioneer in cosmetics for sensitive skin and you still haven't removed fragrances from your basic creams as if we buy them to smell nice.
The second thing that bothered me was that it does absorb, but it leaves a strange thin film that feels velvety and shiny. I can feel it on my skin and I don't like it. Maybe it's because of the mineral oil it contains?
The third and most significant deal breaker was that instead of feeling comfort and relief, I feel like it irritates certain areas of my face after using the cream.
On the positive side, at least I didn't see any new pimples (yet) and it does moisturize the skin. I applied it at night and woke up with slightly more hydrated skin than usual. But what can I do...
Okay, I've only used it for two days and I'm already on the hunt for my next moisturizer. And I don't think it will be from Avene.
Very moisturizing, pleasant feeling ... I use it as a hydration mask when I need immediate smoothing and hydration even locally on more intense wrinkles. The price is just right!
It is an okay cream, personally because I have acne, the alternative that is also sunscreen is better for me and the skin is more even in color and radiant
I have normal skin, relatively easy. I can't say that I am very particular about skincare... I wanted a cream that spreads easily and doesn't weigh down my face, so that I can use it as a base for makeup. This particular cream, therefore, I can say is relatively satisfactory, but not the perfect cream. It spreads relatively difficultly (it requires a small amount to avoid leaving marks) and sometimes it feels heavy on my skin. Maybe for someone with drier skin, it is better! Next time, I will try another one.. Overall, a good cream for its price!
Fantastic cream. It suits my skin very well. Its texture is a bit heavy, but it's perfect for the winter when I have dryness and redness. In the summer, I use the same cream with a lighter texture and sunscreen on top.
Words are unnecessary for this cream! I underwent treatment with isotretinoin for acne and my skin was extremely dry, but this moisturizer truly does what it promises. It instantly hydrates and absorbs into the skin in a matter of seconds. It doesn't leave an oily feeling (i.e., a greasy complexion). My dermatologist recommended it to me (specifically mentioning that it doesn't leave a shiny skin) and I was somewhat hesitant since I paid €20 for it at the local pharmacy and thought it was excessive for the quantity of 40ml. Every moisturizer I have used has caused breakouts immediately, except for this one. Would I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY, I think it is a one-way street for sensitive skin.
