The PerfectCare Elite Plus iron is the most powerful and fastest steam generator, with an ultra-light iron and smart automatic steam supply for ultimate comfort. No temperature settings are required, guaranteed without burns.
OptimalTEMP Technology, no temperature settings required
Irons everything, from jeans to silk, without adjusting the temperature. Thanks to OptimalTEMP technology, no selections or adjustments are required. Thus, there is no longer a need to separate clothes beforehand or wait for the iron to heat up and cool down.
No Burns – Guaranteed
Thanks to OptimalTEMP technology, the iron will never cause burns on any fabric. It can even be left with the soleplate facing the clothes or the ironing board.
Powerful steam for perfect crease removal
The powerful and continuous steam supply handles even the thickest fabrics with ease. Stubborn creases disappear with an extra steam shot where needed. This extra steam shot is ideal for vertical ironing, refreshing clothes, and curtains.
Automatic steam system for faster, easier ironing
The intelligent DynamiQ sensor knows exactly when and how the iron moves, providing a powerful steam burst where it is needed most - for easier ironing and faster results.
Lightweight Iron with Comfortable Handle
The iron is incredibly lightweight and comfortable to handle, gliding easily and reducing wrist strain. Thanks to their minimal weight, it is also easy and effective for vertical ironing on curtains and hanging clothes.
T-ionicGlide Soleplate, Ultimate Glide and Durability
The T-ionicGlide soleplate is the best soleplate for ultimate gliding performance and maximum scratch resistance. Its stainless steel base is twice as hard as a regular aluminum base, and the patented 6-layer coating with an advanced titanium layer glides easily for faster results.
Simple and effective descaling system for long-lasting performance
Regular descaling protects the iron, extends its lifespan, and ensures the best steam performance. The exclusive Easy De-Calc Plus system continuously collects scale, with an indicator light and an audible signal that notify when it needs emptying.
Automatic shut-off when the iron is left unattended
The automatic shut-off function automatically turns off the steam generator iron if it has not been used for a few minutes. This saves energy.
Transport lock for safe and easy transportation
The iron locks securely into the base for easy transport around the home and to reduce the risk of accidental contact with the hot plate of the iron.
Energy saving with ECO mode
The ECO function reduces energy consumption for clothes that need less steam.
Large removable water tank for easy refilling
The transparent 1.8-liter tank provides up to 2 hours of continuous use. When the water tank is empty, it alerts you with the indicator light, so it can be easily refilled at any time from the tap through the large filling opening.

Top iron. You press to turn it on and in a few seconds you start ironing. It collects the salts and stays clean. It has a motion sensor, so as soon as you move it, it releases steam and when you stop, it stops. It is extremely lightweight. The temperature sensor is excellent. We simply leave it on the ironing board (and if it stays on for a long time, it even shuts off to prevent any accidents) and we don't worry about it burning. No matter what clothes you have underneath, it magically knows what to do to avoid burning. It significantly speeds up ironing at home.
The iron from the first day of use suddenly started staining the clothes. I contacted Customer Support and they told me that this happens because the model is very powerful and they gave me instructions on how to avoid the problem. The following week, following the instructions, the behavior of the iron did not change. I contacted Customer Support again and they told me that the first thing they ask in these cases is if softened water is being used. Indeed, because in my area the water has a lot of minerals, I was using it. The next week (the iron is used once a week) I tried using tap water, but the problem remained. I contact Customer Support again and ask for a replacement, but they tell me that this can only be done within 10 days of purchase and refer me to the authorized repairer in my area, in Patras. In communication with them, they inform me that they terminated their partnership with Philips over 6 months ago. Eventually, they give me the correct repairer who, however, refuses to cover the transportation costs as Customer Support assured me. After I handed it over, I waited 2 months because, as the Repairer told me, they do not keep spare parts in stock in Athens and they have to be ordered from abroad when enough requests are gathered. Finally, the iron was used 4 months after its purchase, repaired, with the additional cost of two transports, which for an iron is not small, and with a lot of inconvenience in phone calls and tests. The iron now works perfectly, but the support is unacceptable. No resemblance to the Philips we knew. My personal opinion, stay away from Philips.
However, the story continues. The iron worked well for a month and then the same issues occurred again. I send it back to the repairer and receive it back after a month because, as I mentioned before, they do not keep spare parts in stock in Greece. I was informed that the first time they replaced the boiler and the second time the circuit board, basically everything as they said. For two months now, it has not presented any problems, but my opinion remains "stay away from PHILIPS."
I had a Rowenta iron before that lasted over 10 years. This one I have for 2 years and it already has a problem. The circuit board is broken, says the repairman, and it will cost at least 100 € to fix it. Also, the automatic steam function is unreliable. It was supposed to release steam as you iron and stop when you stop ironing, but it never worked properly from the beginning, releasing steam whenever it wanted. I am not at all satisfied and I spent a lot of money when I bought it!
Sturdy construction... very lightweight in the hand when ironing... plenty of steam options depending on your needs... makes a bit of noise when preparing the steam but it's understandable... quite heavy, requires attention and a good ironing board to withstand its weight... definitely worth the price it is.
Very good device, after three years it developed a fault which I had it repaired at a store that deals with it, not at the dealership. It would have been a really great purchase if its price was significantly lower. Oh... and don't forget to remove the wire that supports the cable, it was useless to me and it broke easily.
Attention to those who do not have many clothes for ironing as it is bulky and not so necessary. It is extremely lightweight, quite powerful, however, for some difficult clothes, I did not see a big difference from my old conventional iron and the results were average in vertical ironing.
Friends recommended it to me. It is excellent. Very easy to use. Because there is space, I have it permanently set up and I even use it to refresh clothes from the closet that I will wear at that moment. It heats up in very little time, and it has a notification sound, so I can do something else while it heats up. I mainly use it in automatic mode.
I definitely iron quickly and effectively. The biggest test for me is linen shirts, which it irons very well. Also, I started ironing sheets and towels again because it is much easier now.
It produces a lot of steam, today with bad weather, the windows of the room fogged up after a few minutes of use.
Because the plate does not burn and I use the automatic function, I don't worry about burning clothes. Also, the automatic shut-off function is quite convenient for me. Be careful when you have the automatic function with steam, do not turn it towards yourself or someone else. The steam comes out with the movement of the iron.
As for the disadvantages:
Sometimes, it releases water from the plate. I have noticed that it happens twice. When I haven't cleaned the salts and a few times when it has gone from a garment that requires a lot of steam to a garment that requires minimal to no steam.
It makes noise when heating the water, but don't expect anything terrible. Also, when it needs water, it suddenly starts and squeaks.
From the purchases that I really wonder why I didn't make earlier. Lightweight, with automatic steam and temperature adjustment, it makes ironing a breeze. I am truly very satisfied.
From the first uses, it appears to be very easy to use and does not tire you out. It saves time on ironing. The automatic steam function is convenient so you don't have to constantly hold down a button. There is no need to separate the clothes. I will come back at a later time.
Edit:
Very convenient that you can refill water if needed, without having to wait for it to cool down.
8 months later, I consider it one of the best electrical appliance purchases I have made.
After one year, I am very satisfied.
The best ironing system. The fact that you can iron any garment you want in any order you want without changing the temperature is incredible.
We chose it because my wife considers Philips ironing systems to be among the best (she has a friend who has something similar in an older version and has tried it). I tried it myself and I was amazed, I almost ironed a washing machine on my own without even realizing it, it's a very lightweight iron and in auto mode it plays with steam on its own, you never even realize you're ironing. Awesome!
Brand new iron on the 3rd use made a loud noise when the boiler was running (as if there was a pebble inside the tank). It was replaced because it was within the first 15 days. The new iron from the very first use made exactly the same sound.. returned to the store where after inspection they themselves found that it was faulty again. Finally, a refund was made.
Very lightweight and very fast ironing but after this experience, never again Philips
My wife is forever grateful for two things I bought her: a Xiaomi robot mop and this iron here. It finishes in 1/4 of the time it used to and without any effort. I don't need to say anything else. It changes the lives of those who hate ironing.
I bought the iron today based on the reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't read anywhere about the noise that the Philips iron makes when it converts water into steam, which is very loud and annoying. It started as soon as I turned on the switch and I was surprised. I thought it was only at the beginning, but I realized that it can be heard every time I iron. I called the representative because I thought it was defective, and they told me that it is normal functioning. Personally, if I had known, I wouldn't have bought it, and that's why the review!
After 3 months of purchase and many hours of ironing, I can confidently say that it is worth its money and more....!!! The ironing time has been reduced by half, the iron is extremely lightweight and the Auto function, which allows you to have steam release with the press of a button and a slight movement of the iron, has saved my hands....as the previous system I had constantly needed replacement due to prolonged pressing...!!!
Although I had concerns because I hadn't read many positive reviews, I loved it! I iron in half the time compared to before. The price is a bit steep, but it's worth it.
Simply amazing..! We got it, my mother tried it, my sister, my wife's mother, and 2-3 friends and EVERYONE bought it!! Unbelievable.. It may seem expensive to you, but it is worth 100000% its money..
Honestly, it is the best choice I have made in an ironing system! It is super lightweight, very easy to use and clean, and incredibly well-made! I highly recommend it without hesitation!!!
Super lightweight, very good in its use. I have been using it for 2 months now and I have changed every bad opinion I had about ironing.... I highly recommend it, especially for people like me with tendonitis in both hands....
Until recently, I was using a simple steam iron that was quite good and I was satisfied. However, due to the volume of clothes, I decided to get a similar type of iron that everyone was praising to finally see the difference myself. Skeptical at first, but just one use was enough to open my eyes! Perfect ironing, easy, lightweight, and effective! I am amazed. I highly recommend it, even though I didn't have a comparison measure of another iron of this type!
In the family (mothers, sisters, etc.) we have 4 Tefal top model irons and all 4, after everyone's encouragement that Tefal is the way to go, I decided to do something different and bought this specific iron. Personally, I have no experience in ironing, but two different people who have already used Tefal told me that this iron is a step above. Its advantages are that it is extremely lightweight, very easy to use, and very powerful. It really does everything on its own, temperature control, steam quantity, without pressing any buttons
Where I used to get bored, now I iron with enthusiasm. The iron is incredibly lightweight and heats up quickly. Be careful at the beginning not to continuously press the steam button, as water might start running. Over time, you will get used to the automatic feature it has and you will iron perfectly!
It's too good to be true!! I decided to wait for time to show, but really, even though I hate ironing, it's worth it to iron even the socks!!!! Lightweight, powerful, and fast! It takes me more time to lay the fabric flat than to iron it! If the image helps, its steam reminds me of a dry cleaner's press (oh, yes!! that cloud of steam!!) I am very happy that I finally got it after many years of eyeing it, and I wouldn't settle for anything else!
Iron mainly with steam, rather than with the iron plate. Today, when I tried to iron synthetic fabric, the iron stuck to the fabric, making it wrinkled. Luckily, it didn't create a hole and the color remained on the plate.
First day today and we have the following... after 3 ironing cycles. Very light and fast, completely automatic and powerful. It has a button on the top, which, when pressed, releases steam only when you make a movement to iron and stops as soon as you lift it. Generally, these Philips irons have a completely different philosophy than what we knew until now. I would say I iron quickly, comfortably, and safely. Anyone who wants to buy something like this should take into consideration that it has a different way of functioning, meaning... it irons purely with steam... with the power and temperature of the steam... it is a light iron with a not very hot plate and you can't adjust it. It is automatic, it doesn't iron with its weight and the very hot plate in combination with steam, but only with steam. That's why I iron quickly and comfortably with it, as it is light and allows fast movements like a game on each garment. And it's safe because the plate heats up just enough. If it had the weight and the hotter plate, it might iron even better, but it would lose in the other aspects that I emphasized above. Personally, as a first experience, I am very satisfied with this purchase, at 329 euros. And I like this particular philosophy. It also has a turbo steam button... which indeed makes it even more powerful, but it also finishes the water faster and the boiler works continuously to support all this energy. I forgot to mention that it didn't drip or stick to any garment... it also turns off by itself after a while if you forget it and it collects the limescale. I definitely recommend it, just keep in mind that its functioning is different.
