Extremely ergonomic and easy to use. I have tried several ergonomic mice, this is by far the best. It takes about half a day to get used to the trackball. It has software for the computer for custom button uses. It is expensive, but worth the money. I have had 2 surgeries on my wrist and have suffered quite a bit, this mouse seems to greatly reduce the strain on my wrist. The trackball needs to be cleaned about every week from the inside, very easy process. Recommended!!
I used it and in 2 days I got used to it and now I won't go back to conventional mice. My job is mechanical engineer and I need to intervene in design software daily. Mice of this type are suitable for drawings. In fact, the precision function button mentioned in the description is very useful for detailing. The trackball acts as the cursor. The mouse is placed on a very sturdy magnetic base and does not need to be moved at all during use. This also reduces the risks of tendonitis.
One disadvantage I can find from my own use is that I carry it daily to work and it takes up space in my bag. (As you can tell, I'm stingy about getting a second one)
Once you go black you never go back.
I printed a 3D base that I found on the internet with a 45-degree angle and it's the best mouse I've ever had
The ultimate ergonomics in a mouse. The base that puts it in a more vertical position makes all the difference!
The precision of the sphere is also exceptional.
From the many hours of computer use, I had a big problem from my wrist to my shoulder with discomfort that only went away with physical therapy. I decided to try another mouse in the hopes of finding relief.
It is worth 100% of the money. After 1 month of use, I haven't complained about wrist pain.
The mouse is extremely user-friendly, you can customize it with various shortcuts using the Logitech program in any application. I now use autocad and 9/10 of my movements are done with the mouse.
Personally, I got used to it in 1 day. I have small hands, but I can operate it just fine, no issues!
I believe that if you're going to make a change to an ergonomic mouse with a trackball, it's worth going for this one, it's an investment!
I consider it to be quite large like a mouse and it forces you to have your palm open, which I don't find very comfortable/ergonomic. Maybe for someone with a bigger hand, it would be more comfortable. Otherwise, its trackball is quite good and responsive. One technical issue it has is that when switching from one device to another (it can be connected to two different devices), it takes a while to respond.
1-2 weeks until you get used to it and then you can't part with it. Even for video/image/game editing, everything just takes time until you learn it well, especially for precise movements.
No more pain in the wrist and tendons, it is very convenient and a shame that it doesn't come to Europe with the adapter for +20 degrees, so I made my own magnetic one from wood exactly at the degrees I wanted and it is completely comfortable.
Finally, as a fan of free rolling on the wheel, I removed this specific metal piece and its free rolling is perfect and absolutely accurate even for 5mm movements and with very smooth braking.
As for the negatives, I would say that I would like it with more buttons and also the left and right click is quite noisy, but these are subjective things. The mouse is awesome.
First of all, I have been a Logitech trackball models owner for 15 years. It could be great IF... at some point Logitech decides to respect its customers and finally FIX the double-click issue that all M570s suffer from, unfortunately even after 1 year of use!!! I currently have 2 of them and one has already started with the double clicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The funny thing is that I bought them to replace the previous M570s that had the same problem. To understand what double click means, imagine holding down the left button to drag a file and the MX Ergo releases it whenever it wants!!! TERRIBLE!!!!!!
As the owner of the Logitech M570 for 6 years, I have to say that if you use a trackball, you won't want to go back to conventional mice. This particular one could have had a better price and been more attractive.
With the provided unifying receiver, I can't say I was satisfied as it had several freezes on Windows 7. So, I decided to connect it via Bluetooth. After 4 purchases, I ended up with the SAVIO bt-050, which is version 5 and it seems that the issues with movement freezing have been resolved. I have to add that throughout the process of finding the right adapter, Logitech support, although willing, proved to be ignorant. For such a unique product, I would expect more technical knowledge. I hope I helped
I have it here for a month. As a trackball, it is sturdy and well-made. It has an immediate response to my movements and I like the ability to connect even with Bluetooth. Additionally, nice features are the ability to change the tilt and the resolution.
However, I can't say that I am satisfied with the comfort aspect. I have used trackballs repeatedly in the past (Microsoft Trackball Explorer, LOGITECH TRACKMAN) where the use of the ball was done with the index and middle finger. The use of the ball with the thumb was something new, which I got used to but ultimately it is tiring. I am forced to stop using it several times to massage the bottom of my palm as it hurts, while I have a spare regular mouse to continue my work after some time.
It has been a month since I bought the product and I can say that my impressions are quite good.
It is heavy (more than I expected), so it doesn't move while using it.
Very comfortable on both levels it has (horizontal and sideways), although personally I prefer the sideways because it allows me to use it for many hours.
The fact that you can transfer the mouse from one device to another so naturally (and I don't mean from screen to screen, I mean from laptop to laptop) is incredible.
Fast and immediate connection both via Bluetooth and via USB.
I would not recommend it if you need a mouse for precise work, as traditional mice are much easier to use.
It is very good for a small office as it does not require any movement to move the cursor.
My old review:
Once you get used to the ball, it's very good.
Edit after about a year:
* It's not durable at all, my wheel broke already.
* It collects a lot of dust on the ball and needs frequent cleaning.
* The receiver doesn't work very well. Bluetooth works better (even in a crowded space).
Edit again:
Suddenly, it required full access to accessibility controls on Mac OS Mojave to scroll.
If possible, it will soon ask for credit card information.
The handling of the trackball with the thumb is not effective after some hours of use, as the accuracy is lost due to fatigue. The toggle to sensitive mode is not useful in real workflow. It also collects dust and sometimes does not respond immediately at the start of movement.
2. The mouse is quite large even for a large hand, resulting in fatigue, especially for the index finger.
3. In a setup with 2 screens, transitioning from one screen to another is difficult, requiring at least 2-3 movements of the thumb.
4. The scroll down wheel is very noisy.
If the recipe had succeeded, it would have been worth its money, but in reality, it only serves as a showcase.

The trackball needs cleaning every once in a while. Be careful not to damage it with anything sharp.

Flexible, stable, very convenient.
The best thing about using a mouse for 10 years now is its gaming capabilities
