Sentenced to 387 years in prison -not a few, right?!- the Dalton brothers face new measures to address overcrowding in prisons when the "tenants" become too many. The hanging!
However, because there is a God who sees, they receive help from their neighbor in the next cell, the corrupt judge Biglar, who tells them about a law from June 6, 1858, thanks to which the Daltons could escape the gallows if... they get married! (Sometimes the opposite happens too!..)
